Pick-up Roams?

Does anyone know of a channel or community where people come together just to find a couple of other pilots that want to micro/small gang roam? If not, would people be interested in that type of thing? Now before people start saying "join a better corp," it isn't that I don't like my corp, just sometimes when I roam in off-times it would be nice to find some people to roam with (welp stabbers with in my case haha). I also know about NPSI communities like Spectre and BB but I'm more looking for a "I'm taking out a drake, x up if you wanna join" and 5 mins later you're all off kind of deal. Thanks in advance!

This is how i would feed random strangers to a wandering meat-grinder of a gang.
Wonder how many gangs Unlucky Draekman could roam with before people started to catch on...

The problem with this suggestion is that people would recruit someone to a gang, jump into low sec and gank him. It would be as prevalent as the Jita scams.

You would be better off just doing your roams with your corp and enjoy solo roams for what they are. You can hunt in your own time, pick your own targets, do a bit of research to work out if they are bait or genuine solo targets, then have a blast killing them. I get much more of a buzz acheiving a solo kill than a gang, even after 14 years Cool

You could also join a larger group such as one of the bigger nul blocs. They may have an ample pool of willing pilots. However there you may have requirements to FC.

Join a better corp. One that doesn't provide you with people online at the sort of times you feel like killing isn't going to be a good investment long-term.

I thought about this as well, but it shouldn't be too hard to filter out awoxers after a small amount of time. Something like the KOS database provi has. And the golden rule of eve would still apply "dont fly what you cant afford to lose", especially if flying with strangers. If you say "taking out blingy vindi, anyone want to come" and accept anyone to fleet, you're just dumb and you'd probably die terribly anyways.

I do roam with my corp and solo, but there are definitely times when flying with two or more other guys definitely open up a lot more engagements than just flying by yourself. Not to mention brawling fits become exponentially better with more pilots.

Spectre Fleet They're legit, pick up roams is what they do. I've heard from friends they're lots of fun too.
Red vs, Blue Ganked Fleets. Usually on weekend nights, open to the public, last I heard. (Just did a Google, saw rumors that RvB folded/is folding. True? No, cannot be true please!)
