This is not a rant but merely an observation that CCP need to address.

The market as it is is screwed. Not only does it take 60 seconds to update a sell order (regularly) but also seems to have database issues.

Example, (Jita) Fullerene Intercalated Sheets showing the wrong market information with regards to price, volume etc.

How are players supposed to make an informed decision on whether to buy if the data they see is corrupt????

theres a purpose to delayed sell orders/buy orders. theres bots constantly changing prices to .1 isk the next order. I have caused market issues in jita using this because there is no way some little space geek is sitting there watching his orders to .1 isk under the next bid in less than 10 secs and im willing to bet it even shorter

The market is pretty bad of late.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

It isnt about the .1 isk war, 30 seconds and more to update an order is just ridiculous. These issues all statred with the introduction of Citadel markets and I doubt even CCP predicted what load it would have on the servers.

Anyway I digress, the item I have mentioned is clearly displaying incorrect information which leads me to beleive there is a database issue somewhere.

CCP please investigate.

Calm down egghead, its not a database issue. It has the previous items market data displayed with the picture of the one you just clicked on. Its a common bug that happens when you click too fast in changing what is displayed.

Slow down, maybe. I do tens of orders per day, hundreds of updates. Little slow lately, but no glitches out of the ordinary.

Edit : I see the item you mentioned. So its a glitch. File a ticket and move on.

Filing a bug report is decent advice. You did file a bug report, didn't you?

The market is definitely slower in Jita but I'm not experiencing as much technical difficulties in other places. I was just in Amarr and other than paying too much for a meta MWD, the market there seemed much more responsive like how it was before they broke it. Or I'm just having a good day. Client overall has been running like trash since my vacation over a month ago.

It's probably not a coincidence that the Jita market is experiencing so many issues with the close proximity of numerous Citadel trade hubs.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Well, it'll take at least until the next release. Maybe longer if it is really a performance bottleneck. And communication will most likely only be via patch notes.
