New t2 battleships bonused for smartbombs?

I can give you 2 reasons to make them:
- Abaddon, Rokh, Hyperion and Maelstrom still need a t2 version
- I think we don't have any ship with smartbomb bonus, so smartbombs are the only weapons without a ship designed to use them
So why not?

If you want an intelligent argument, please do, I'm up for it!

But if you want a trolling contest, I will win it by simply not participating.

I'm not saying no, but could it be too niche?

For the low low price of 1billion you can Pipebomb, firewall, gate gank or be completely useless...

not a reason to add a ship

only reason to add a ship is because there is a role that needs to be filled

again irrelevant currently the range of smart bombs are set to what is considered the max range and damage you add this ship and you will be paying 1b to get the range/damage you have now on a normal ship




in short you are asking for something that isn't needed and is just a nerf.

again all balanced to what is considered the max with max skills you add a ship that bonuses it and the base moduals will get nerffed to ensure the max stays relatively close

You could make them as frigate/cruiser destroyers the opposite of the battlecruisers that fit battleship guns.

300%-400% bonus to small turrets.
Call them ships of the line. Like a battleship with 24-32 small guns worth of damage and high rates of fire.

yeah that doesn't sound broken...


you do know that the listed battleships have 0 issue fitting for anti small craft right? without also needing an insane 400% bonus

Well, I think it is time to introduce small, medium and large doomsday devices and since I am not so good with naming we would call them IWIN turret.

So, to make them not too strong I propose 1 powergrid and 0 cpu for fitting, one high-slot and to keep skill training as long as possible so noobs wouldn't be able to abuse them engineering I as prerequisite.

Stats would go as follows:

- 3 billion hp damage, system wide of course
- removes sov by entering sov system and insta-removes all stations and tcus
- ihubs will be destroyed by pressing the keyboard shortcut FONE
- would also insta-iredicate all citadels in system
- prohibits all cynos by being in system
- makes the ship immune to damage, ewar, area effect damage and drone damage
- gives the ability to use the inbuild jump-drive with no fatigue across the map

Restrictions:

- The small one can only be fit on a frigate
- The medium one can only be fitted on a cruiser or combat battlecruiser
- The large one can only be fitted on batteships and faction battleships

Cannot be fit on marauder, black ops and all t3

Eve Minions is recruiting.

I'd rather not see CCP spend time and resources on something so niche it's only likely use is some kind of AFK camp.

While I would absolutely love to see T2 versions of those hulls I'd prefer if they were something I or anyone else would find a reason to actually use...

Only if we can self-destruct it and take out everything in a 50km blast radius. Would be totally worth it to destroy everything on the Jita undock...

Sure lets make smartbomb ratting even easier now you only have to fleetwarp --> regroup --> wait 2-5 min --> fleetwarp .....


Sound not broken at all to me.

I hate to brake it to you but currently it is like that... just need 2 characters 3 if you want to have overkill...

Although i do agree that some ships should get bonus to smartbombs like cap useage or similar but hey they just remade defender missiles which has been useless since dawn of time...
so all of you whining about ccp spending time on useless things... well they just did.

watch what you ask for on t2 and faction ships, last time we asked for faction ships/t2 of a ship they simply changed skins for the t2, and nerfed the original and made the faction what the original was
