System Security Levels Change?

I was traveling through an area in High sec, I could have sworn was 0.8 but now is 0.7. The details are irrelevant but leads to the question below. I can't find this info anywhere. I need one or more of you big brains on this one.

Do systems in High Sec change security levels? If so, can a 0.5 become a 0.4 and become low sec?

No, systems don't change sec status.

Thanks a lot you guys.....lol. EVE for me is like a virus....and my antibiotics are not working!

I caught robo-miners in my area several hours ago and emailed the apparent real player telling him to get the heck out or I'd report him. His obvious other corp of 1 member declared war on us a few minutes later while I'm telling everyone in Teamspeak. So, our CEO declared war on the robo-miner corp of 6 whole members. They are all about 4-6 months old flying 1 Orca, 1 Providence and 4 Skiffs. I smell many skill injectors in that group.

Dummy should have just left the area, I gave him a way out. If any corp is bored and would like to join the High Sec bot hunt, feel free to ally with us. I hate bots!

IIRC many of the systems actual security level isn't a round number like 0.7 but say 0.69, etc. you will sometimes see the other number - mostly in 3rd party tools. So you might not be going completely insane.

That would make sense, considering antibiotics only fight bacterial infections.

A proper vaccine probably wouldn't have helped anyway. Otherwise DUST would have been a decent inoculation and I wouldn't be posting here right now.

This actually happened once apparently, CCP in the far past has gone about changing the sec status of certain systems, most of the time in nullsec with truesec but apparently some of the most populous systems in highsec used to be lowsec, 0.5 also used to be lowsec and thats why you get alot of highsec islands in lowsec pipes, i.e Atai.
