Nos is getting me +0 GJ drained from NPC - Accurate?

Sorry if this is a duplicate question. I searched google, but couldn't find an answer to this specific question.

When running my Nos on an NPC, I always see the combat text "+0 GJ energy drained from " NPC. And I don't seem to see cap going up. I thought NPCs can be nossed? Is this a combat text bug or...?

Thanks for the reply. So it reads 0 GJ drained but it's actually draining? I will have to test this with no mods running when the nos goes off.

Nos on NPCs can be something of an unreliable mechanic, however it often does work. However it is not something I would try to rely on. IMO utility highs are better used for other things for pve.

no idea what it says in the log, ewar even showing up in the log is pretty new.

I was under the impression neuts/nos/ewarfare did not work on npcs at all except for stasis webification.

I must have misread something somewhere.

You can never neut or drain them completely, but you can draw a steady trickle of power from them.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

I used today a small nosferatu on some sansha rats in combat anoms in highsec, and the combat log showed +9 GJ drained for each cycle. Don't know if rats still have the infinite capacitor ability or not.
