Question regarding referral link and plex

If someone uses my referral link and they use a plex on their account simultaneous does that count for someone using my referral link which in-turn gives me a plex? Or do they have to pay the subscription fee technically to activate their account for me to get the plex.

tl;dr
If referral uses plex on account for first time, do I get the plex from referral going omega?

Can Alpha accounts even use a plex?

Perhaps it's just that your OP is so poorly worded, no one can be arsed to answer because you couldn't be arsed to ask a simple question in plain English.

However, since I'm one of the nicer members of the forum, I'll answer for you:

Yes, upgrading to an Omega account via PLEX still qualifies you for the buddy invite rewards. However under the old scheme, you couldn't then select a PLEX as the reward (no free lunch). I assume that remains the same.

If they plex you get 30 days of game time no plex. If they pay you get a plex.

Official EVE Support FAQ regarding referrals, including detailed terms of use.

To answer your specific questions:

If they use a PLEX to go Omega, you get 30 days game time added to your subscription.

Only Omegas can generate the referral invites. If you generate one and then your account goes Alpha before they click, you get 30 days game time (get upgraded back to Omega status for 30 days).

If they use other approved payment methods (not PLEX), then you get a choice, do you want PLEX or 30 days.

It's an alt and you insinuate you've been here for a while and that doesn't occur to you that people use alts on the eve forums? Call me shocked. Jesus this community is becoming so garbage over the years. It's like dealing with the LoL kiddos.
