Hello All,

As the title states, I'm looking for an alliance. I've been out of the game for the past couple of years, but I've been getting back into it lately. Before I went really inactive in Eve, I had my own POS and did manufacturing, trading, PI, missions, and not much PvP. My corp is almost as old as me and it was setup with the help of a max skill player, so it's always been ready to grow to be however big as I care to grow it. Currently though, it's just me and one of my alts.

As for ships, I focused primarily on Minmatar and have the skills to fly up to a dreadnought. I would like to purchase the other capital class skills as they're unlocked, but there's really no point for me in my current state of noob-ness. I would also like to start recruiting into my corp, but again not quite yet in my current state of indirection of my own affairs (but soon). I'm mostly a jack-of-all-trades, but I have mastered a few areas and some ships.

My core area skills are solid/maxed. I haven't yet bought Minmatar Carrier or Titan, but I can start training them anytime. Other than those 2 Minmatar ship skills, if it has Minmatar in front of it or no race, I have it trained. As for the other race's ships skills, I have what I need but haven't really focused on them much yet. So as you can imagine, my gunnery skills are also more focused towards the Minmatar side of things. Small projectile specialized maxed, medium and large specialized at level 4 or better, and the non-racial racial skills maxed or nearly. As for the capital class and non-Minmatar racial gunnery skills, not so much but not so bad. So, there really isn't anything I can't fly from dreads on down, at least as a Minmatar.

I've always been mostly a solo player and focused on being able to do everything myself, so there's not much I can't do in Eve in any area. Most of them at an overall skill level of 4 if not 5, so being able to make ISK isn't really a problem as there's not much I can't do at a skill level that's at least profitable aside from PvP. I've lived and operated in WH space, null sec, and low sec and can comfortably travel between them all with little to no worry. With max core navigation, and nearly maxed interceptor/covert-ops, and a clone with a full set of mid+1 high Snake implants, it's not hard to get anywhere quickly and safely alone.

The thing is, while you can do anything you like solo in Eve, it's really not as enjoyable as it can be to its full potential alone. I really would like to get back into PvP, I do miss FW, and I really would like to put my skills to real use helping others. But, I'm also an old man, I've got a job, and I don't want to join up with others who demand that Eve be a 2nd full time job. Don't get me wrong, I work from home, all hours of the day and night, and I put a lot of time into Eve. I just have no desire to be locked into a schedule not of my own making and would rather play with others who are more laid back and not over-demanding of others.

I live in Hek mostly and I think that will always be my hi-sec base of operations. Finding an alliance in the low-sec areas around Hek would be great, but as I've said before, I can get anywhere I like in Eve so I could setup low-sec and null-sec operations anywhere within reason. I'm no care-bear for-sure, but until I get my operations re-established, my PvP involvement will be more of a defensive nature focused more on staying alive and re-learning to thrive. I'm happy to take new players into my corp as well as seasoned vets when I've gotten comfortable in an alliance.

Also, I'm multiplayer online games developer for a living and have my own servers. So I come with my own Teamspeak, audio streaming, and and and... web server to say the least. Websites, mobile apps, stand-alone PC/Mac apps, I do and can do and more. So, I do have a lot to offer an alliance, and my corp, beyond what I can do in-game.

So... I'm looking for an established alliance for myself and my corp that I can grow in. I want to become good at PvP and fleeting up with others. I would like to find some other players I can trust and make ISK with. There's been so many changes to ships and modules since I've really been into flying that I've got a lot to learn and it would be nice to find friends who could help me get caught up and current. So the alliance I'm looking for should be new player friendly for sure, even though I'm not really a new player.
