is so cheesy naming alphaclone and Omega clone when you could just name the trial clone citizen sense is so intuitive for people to understand its role and capabilities restricted to his civilian grade status

Why the keyword "citizen" though? As an eve player that is much cheezier because of the Star Citizen thing, you do realize that?

ok OP, i just checked your profile and it says you've been playing since 2010... why ask this question? can't you remember the naming convention of the clones before when we need to update it according to our SP/clone SP capacity?

As long as you can tell them apart, I don't see the problem.

You could call them ponyclones and uniclones for all I care.

TL;DR Let's replace the existing arbitrary naming system with MY arbitrary naming system. Because reasons.

To capsuleers there is no such thing as a 'trial capsuleer'. It's a non-reversible process as far as the Lore goes.

So while gameplay > Lore for many people, the naming of things still has to make sense in an 'EvE is real' way because our capsuleers to all intents are real people in a real living environment.

Alpha clones are still capsuleers. Citizens are not.

Only a very, very, very, very tiny percentage of the population is capable of handling the implants to be a capsuleer.

Does it really matter what we call the drone food?

Because if they started using social status related nomonclature we would just call them second class citizens

...

Which we do anyway

...

Because they pretty much are.

It's a little on the nose I feel.
If we're going that route we may as well call them pesants ... Though I'm sure I've heard that used too.
That and the old clone system.

Alpha clones are not real people (this is an in-game opinion)

And those turn out to be super awesomely well adjusted members of society after a few dozen poddings.
Try to imagine just how batshit crazy your capsuleer truly would be after going through the events they have in game.

There's a reason they wont let us land on the planets or walk in the stations.

Come hell or high water, this sick world will know I was here.
