Fleets doing missions questions

The other day I was doing some theory crafting with missions and fits. Its been awhile since ive done anything associated with npcs or pve so I had some questions for the community.

1. If 2 characters are in the same room in lets say RR domis or Nestors, Is full damage taken by one single ship or is the damage technically split in some way?
This is a question for fitting tank vs damage, if a single ship doesn't take complete aggro, it means I could fit more damage then tank. Yes I know I could tank each individual ship with omni-tanks.

2. Do standing increases/ Decreases change with security status?
I know they do with Mission type/ Level but was interested to see if anyone had reported any differences with security status.

3. Are standing increases split when sharing them among fleet members like isk and LP?

Thanks for the answers

Damage is taken by whomever is being shot. This sometimes changes.

Standings increases and other rewards are somewhat influenced by system security status. I am not sure of the numbers but it is in the order of 10% difference between 0.5 and 0.7.

Agent and NPC corp standings are shared, faction standings boosts from storyline missions are not. Each character will take standings losses for the ships they shoot at or destroy.

In mission both ships are likely to be shot at. Sometimes the NPC will shoot just one, sometimes they will shoot at both.
To start the best option would be to set up both ships as if you were going to run the missions solo and then change based on experience.

Standings changes are sort if a sliding scale sort of thing.
The greatest changes occur when you are around zero standing.
The farther you go either positive or negative the slower your standings change.
For more complete standing information and how you can change them I suggest reading Standings Repair Plan by our own DMC and others, there is a lot of useful information there. As always kudos to DMC and the rest for the work to put this together.

Yes, any standings changes positive or negative are shared between fleet members.

I have not confirmed this but several people I mission with routinely insist that all members of the fleet must be in the same system as the agent to benefit from the standings, if someone can confirm or disprove this I would appreciate the information.

A change in the opposite direction is magnified at very high/low standings. An increase at very low standings is going to be bigger than the increase at 0 standings, and much larger than the standing change at high standings.

For a practical example when running caldari/amarr missions I can shoot all the gallente/minmatar I want as it is very easy to repair the very low standings by running a few SoE storylines which give derived standings to gal/min. The negative hit is very small because I am negative (around -5), but the positive gain is large because I am negative.

Also when declining many missions to get desirable ones I can have my agent level standings drop to -3.5 (diplomacy level 3 brings that above -2 which is the level where they stop talking to me) or so, as every one mission completed brings my standings up greatly.

This goes the other way with standings loss, I was at 10 standing with CPF and then I declined a few missions inside the 4 hour free decline window and dropped down to 9.6, with lower standings a declined mission only loses a very small amount.

Standing gains from missions do not depend on system security. Running an Anomic Team gives you 5.83% Corp standings whether you run it for an agent in a 1.0, 0.5, or -0.25 sec system.

Standings from normal missions and epic arcs* split equally amongst fleet members of the sharer has fleet sharing on automatically or accepts to split the rewards. Standings do not share from storyline, cosmos, datacenter, or FW missions (including Corp and agent standings).

*Even the Faction standings awarded by the final mission in epic arcs will be shared to other fleet members, so be careful. To my knowledge, epic arcs are the only source of fleet-shareable faction standings in the game.
