It hurt me when I paid 40+40 euros for 3 months of subscription for Yiole and the Focks, thinking that I would get skillpoint extractors, and it turned that the offer was poorly worded and expired sooner than I used it. So I feel CCP cheated me off of 80 euros.

But paying one year without as much as playing... that sucks. I guess you've checked your other subscriptions and cancelled them... all in all now you can have all the forum fun as an alpha.

the last time i was even on the forum, before yesterday, was just over a year ago. and i knew i was still paying. i was just too lazy to do anything about it. i'm sure the game has changed in revolutionary ways since my last visit. but idk when i'll get around to seeing those changes in action because i still don't have the desire to fire it up...let alone sit through updates.

Who doesn't enjoy paying for forum privileges? There was at first disillusionment that drove me away from the game. Then the chaos of life (the good kind!) that kept me away. Also...just so we are clear. I don't believe there have been any revolutionary changes to the game. Sarcasm has always been a skill of mine. Additionally, being back at work after 6 months of leave sometimes leaves me bored enough to search out entertainment options I normally didn't think about over the past year much. Like forum warrioring lol

That's true, free Alpha accounts have full forums privileges. New Alpha guys already livening up GD quite a bit. And also discovering what a warm and caring place GD can be. Smile

Firefox has these little box things of frequently visited sites you can just click the thumbnail of and go there. Well, by some accident or whatever, the eve forums box on mine was deleted. And then I couldn't figure out how to make it come back or undo what happened and I was having to manually type in the address, which was just what I deemed an annoying extra step, and started needing to remind myself of all the information why I even wanted to visit this place anyway. And I was pregnant and waking up in the middle of the night consumed by an emotional roller coaster, self doubt and existential terror.

So...yeah. Interesting year.

If your terrified of being parent your already on the fast track of being an awesome mom! You will make mistakes, and your kid will turn out just fine. My only advice is don't let them sleep in bed with you. Once you do its an awful long painful practice to get them out of it.

You are right. I was addicted to it as a child. I always sneaked at night into my parents bed to sleep there. Spare childrens from this fate!
