WHY does CCP still allow SUICIDE GANKING in HIGH SECURITY space?

It's pretty dang simple, if ccp continues to allow bad players to suicide gank without reprisal who will want to pay to play? How hard is it for people to understand this?

Can you really say that if your chosen playstyle was made indefensible, you would continue to pay a sub just to have people roll over you in "high security space"?

Of course you wouldn't. So why do a handful of bad apples have free run of hi sec?
Suicide ganking has to be removed for the good of EVE.

High security Industrialists, the backbone of EVE, are forced to sacrifice an enjoyable playstyle and become bricktanked paranoid zombies forced to spam D scan all day. Fleeing for docking range at the first hint of a baddie in local. Who the heck wants to play like that? Knowing that if you need to leave your PC during an emergency you will probably come back to a loss mail notificatiion, and a snarky evemail from some brain damaged twit.

At this point alpha just seems easier and cheaper.

So who else thinks suicide ganks in 1.0 to 0.5 should go?

Pretty sure that's what bounties are for.

Are you actually stupid, or are you just pretending? Suicide ganking is a chosen playstyle and it's no more or less valid than any other, which is the beauty of EVE. It doesn't take a genius to work that out, which is why I assume this thread exists.

Is that a hint of self awareness shining through this dung heap you call a thread?

For being such a supposedly massive problem, I still have yet to be so much as shot at in hi-sec (aside from rats, ofc). Even after being a monumental tool and filling up a Venture with 30m worth of ore to take to market. It seems really simple to avoid the supposed pirate scourge if you're just willing to do business outside of the clusterfuck that is Jita.

Granted, I might just be insanely lucky considering I got caught by a cloaked something or other in WH space last night and they let me off with a 'check your D-scan' instead of blasting me out of the sky.

Why SHOULDN'T CCP allow it?

I've been in and out of jita daily, selling my wares for a few years on end now. And in that time I've been ganked ONCE. (And a second failed attempt). This sky-is-falling crap you people spew just simply isn't true.

Maybe you're just bad at the game.

Kind of a bad time for this. A new bug enable ganking character under certain condition without PvP flag even if they are in your own faction.

We are on what.... Year 14 or so.... And since Beta you could gank someone in hi sec space all that time.... Allowing it to continue will surely be the death of this game Roll

Look, it sucks when it happens to you. However, as I and many others can attest, you can survive years hauling your wares to and from trade hubs and never be yanked. Learn to fly smarter and not haul too much in one take and you too can be gank free.

No one with any sense.

We have tried and tried to validate the myth that griefing has a pronounced affect on new players - we have failed. The strongest indicators for a new player staying with EVE are associated with social activity: joining corps, using market and contract systems, pvping, etc. Isolating players away from the actual sandbox seems very contrary to what we would like to accomplish.

I am an industrial player with operations in both highsec and nullsec. There would be no reward without some risk. Whatever industrial activity you participate in, you would make less if the risk was removed because Eve has a player driven economy. If the supply increases, the price drops. Once you learn to think like "prey", flying around New Eden is safer than driving to work in most cities. I've lost 1 ship in highsec in 3 years and 3 in nullsec - all were my fault.
