I am new to eve and trying very hard to establish a half decent income from trading, a 5b helping hand would be the best xmas present an eve newbie could hope for. It would be used wisely ( i hope ) and kick start my at this moment very poor income.

either way have yourself a good christmas

I currently plan to startup a reaction pos farm in lowsec.
5b would allow me to start with like 4 control towers including all materials for the whole first production week. Current plan is to break even after like 3 weeks and then building up more towers to create a steady income.

I plan to invest it into battleship construction to provide my alliance with slightly above cost doctrine fit ships, thus cornering a nice fluid market and ensuring growth for both myself and savings for alliance mates.

I only started playing earlier this year, but I'm planning on doing manufacturing and blueprint research/invention with my corp. We're fairly small and don't have many options for making isk so it's been slow to start up, we're hoping to get into the swing of things by mid next year. Saving for the things we need is taking longer than expected. I actually made my first spreadsheet for it today, so that's nice.

For making the isk so far, I've been doing trading but I pay for my game time via plex which takes a big chunk of my earnings every month. Learning new play styles in eve is incredibly hard, especially with the amount needed to actually get into them with any degree of success, which is causing further difficulties.

Words are hard, so that explanation will have to cut it. Thanks for doing this giveaway, I hope that it'll help the people that end up getting the isk.

I'm hoping to establish a small corporation of corrupt, drug-dealing police officers. All corporation members will be mustachioed, Aviator-wearing Intaki with police-skinned comets, which we will use to deliver boosters to any back-alley in empire space.

I'm still working on a corp name that is an amusing play on D.A.R.E., but have managed to scrape together seed money for my first reaction tower, which will be going up in a low-class wormhole as soon as the matter of the name is settled.

Additional funding is needed for:
-More towers to diversify booster production (and for building strong boosters)
-Comets
-Police skins
-Thugs to secure transactions
-Bribing internal affairs

I would like to expand my operation into blueprint copying and researching.

The plan would be simple, find blueprints preferably at below NPC and research them to acceptable levels, once that is done I would start making copies and selling them this would give me more regular liquid isk.

Since I now have regular liquid ISK income, I would expand production of T1 items.
If the prints can generate enough income, I would look into finding a regular supplier to simplify logistics which would make my life alot easier.

I was thinking of trying to find some Alpha mining corps to supply me, so I could help out the Alpha corps with regular income as well.

Thats basically my short to medium plan.

I dunno much about businesses, but I know how to make some delicious pancakes. Think about this, who's happier, someone who's working hard to make a little more income, or someone who's eating pancakes..

INGREDIENTS
1½ cups all-purpose flour
3½ tsps baking powder
½ tsp salt
¼ cup sugar
1¼ cups milk
1 egg
3 tbsp butter, melted

INSTRUCTIONS
Melt the butter in microwave for 30 seconds, set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix together flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
Stir milk and egg together.
Create a well in the center of the flour mixture.
Pour the butter and milk mixture into the well.
Use a wire whisk to stir everything together until just combined. It will be slightly thick and lumpy, but should be well incorporated.
Allow the batter to rest while heating a lightly oiled skillet or griddle to medium high heat.
Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately ¼ cup for each pancake.
Cook each side for 3-6 minutes, until lightly golden brown.

That's not a very good business plan.

Just give them some of your ISK :-).

Good to see you're still alive, even if not playing eve!

Business Plan:

Hire Purchase Blueprint Service

If someone wants a blueprint they cannot yet afford they can come to me and pay a 10% deposit. I will buy the BPO for them and research it or copy from it for free while I hold it (I can also build from it by arrangement). The client can pay off the balance of the cost of the BPO over whatever period of time they see fit. All they are committed to pay is the 2% interest on the outstanding account balance each month. Once the BPO is fully paid for it is released to the buyer, who benefits from his foresight and receives a print that has several months of research or copying value on it, rather than having to first save for the print and only then be able to research it or otherwise use it.

Might aswell give this a go. I recently came back, upgraded account and started with what i got. Currently im focusing on inventions and some production until ive trained the skills to jump to capital part production. This way i will get there slowly by myself nyt ofc 5b would make it alot easier to start the production lines.

Thx

I don't understand why people bother speculating on ship balances. Even confirmed changes. For anything except pirate faction ships, supply would simply meet demand, and while there would possibly be a small spike or shortage on patch day, unless the components went up in price I don't see why there would be any reason for anything more than a small increase in price at best.

This is a signature.

It has a 25m signature.

No it's not a cosmic signature.

Probably.

Btw my corp's recruiting.

They probably do it because they saw how much ISK people like me made doing it on combat recon ships.

Even dumping them onto sell orders during the post-rebalance demand spike paid build cost + 25 million.

My business plan: Stockpile an enormous amount of T2 ship BPCs (this part is not expensive).

Monitor various sources of news for evidence of demand spikes, such as a fleet of shield interdictors getting whelped in null. Additionally keep one of each ship for sale in Jita at well above market price as a coal mine canary - if it sells, that's a demand spike.

Produce from the hoarded BPCs to meet the spike demand.

An extra 5b would fund the coal mine canaries - one of each HAC, recon ship, command ship etc.

Hi, awesome that your doing this!

I'm a beginning player but I'm currently training up lots of industry skills, with this I'm hoping to start my own corp together with a friend I made that has a lot of experience already and shares the same goals in this game as myself.

We'd like to get our own station and pos's up and start manufacturing ships for our members so we can have little fleets going through low and maybe even null and wormhole space (would love to set up my own pos in a wormhole system! lol), learning pvp and pve as well as it's all good fun. I'm working on an alt to be able to haul stuff around but I only have one character and the dual character training is not cheap so I'm switching a lot when I cannot afford it, then there is my isk race to a freighter of course.. It would help greatly towards my goal of running my very own corporation (and maybe even alliance soon) and having people aboard for a grant adventure, I have started working on the road towards it but being a beginning player myself it all takes a while.

I guess my 'business-plan' focuses mainly on having fun and gathering experience with a good group of people and not the maximum return on investment.. I'm sure I will I grow it bigger as I have made a lot of progress already.

Hi,

I am planning to get into T2 manufacturing and am currently working on training the required skills and establishing the required capital. Until now I am mainly station trading as well as doing some T1 manufacturing to gather the capital for the initial material costs/blueprints/fuel etc. An additional 5 bil would go a long way to speeding up the process.
