Server's certificate does not match the URL

Anyone have a fix?

Same error when starting launcher. Launcher closes and can not start game.

Potential Workaround
I rebooted my PC and now launcher is loading. Perhaps CCP has a single proxy server with the problem and reboot gets you to a different one?

me too.. and any updater or repair tool i can find in the EVE folder will not launch

Here is mine launcher certificate error:

http://imgur.com/a/nD4Io

and when I went to the creatives.extccp.com/img [first time, this is all I typed in] site, it was something to do with 'gamesrevenue.com'... then I added all of the gibberish after - basically the 2nd row of that image and nothing happened - but now if I go back to the first url I typed in, it is a 403 Forbidden page.

#WTF

Here is is my workaround:
While the certificate error window is open.. do not click anything.
In the notification error, click the eve icon.. and launch loglite - this opened up a 'different' version of launcher and then it automatically opened the normal version of the launcher [Windows 7 for me]

I had to change my DNS servers (I was using Google DNS) and flush my DNS cache to get past this problem. Maybe there is or was a bad server and its IP address is still cached for some of us.

DNS resfresh worked for me. run these from a command prompt.

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns

Windows 10

1) While on the desktop, press Windows Key + X.
2) Select Command Prompt (Run as Administrator).
3) Type ipconfig /release in the command prompt.
4) Wait a few seconds for a reply that the IP address has been released.
5) Type ipconfig /renew in the command prompt.
6) Wait a few seconds for a reply that the IP address has been re-established.
7) Type ipconfig /flushdns in the command prompt.
8) Close the command prompt and attempt to make a connection.

Run as Administrator keeps the command prompt open.

I still get the error but the launcher stays open after I hit "ignore".

The steps above worked for me. I had to reboot afterwards.
