Citadel and Gas Reacting?

I haven't seen anything about the mechanics of gas reacting with advent of the Citadels.
I don't understand why this isn't being discussed yet.
I have seen where the "POS" structures will be phased out?
Will the gas reactions just become another manufacturing job just like making fuel blocks?

Drilling Platforms are due to be released in the winter.

These are expected to include new mechanics for reactions. Whether Citadels will also be able to fit the rigs/modules for reactions, we don't know yet.

Moreover (where we can also begin to speculate just a little)...

- Citadels are bonused for the Defense rigs and reduced fuel for the matching Service Modules

- Engineering Complexes are bonused for the Engineering Rigs and for their matching Modules

- Drilling (Reprocessing) Platforms will likely be bonused for their rigs (we only have the one set just now) and their matching Modules (probably Reprocessing joined by 'Moon Mining Drill' and 'Gas Reactor')

All Modules and all rigs will still be allowed on any Structure - they just won't necessarily be bonused for them.

All we'll need then in 'Spring' will be, at least the first (Medium), of the 'Player Built Stargates' going 5ly and then the era of POS can come to an end - all being willing - maybe Spring 2018 (giving one year).

Very sorry, but I had totally missed the mention of "Drilling Platforms".
I don't understand why this didn't come out with the new engineering complexes.
When is "Winter" exactly, since we are a wormhole corp and heavily rely on gas reacting for isk(C320/C540)?
We have just recently begun redeploying in new WH systems w/ Citadels, but need POS too for the reacting?

I'm confused on the logic to bring out Citadels and then Engineering structures and still not done for the reacting platforms???

Winter is just starting now though, so expect information to be released in January and the structures themselves in February; assuming CCP hit their current target, which they seem to be doing more frequently now than in the past, though there's also an argument to make that things are coming out before they really are ready.

Also do not confuse the final date to anchor stations in Nul with POSes. CCP won't pull the plug on POSes till there is a replacement. Pulling the plug too early would eliminate the material used to make the building blocks of t2 modules and ships. Eliminating that source would seriously screw up EVE. So don't stress. POSes are not going anywhere yet.

What about it confuses you, exactly?

It's not like there haven't been multiple dev blogs outlining the intended functionality of different structure types.

Drilling platforms will be out when they're ready - likely in January, would be my guess, but that's just speculation, and perhaps optimistic speculation, at that.

Sorry... confused wasn't the right word. More "letdown".
I don't see a problem with throwing reaction, gas and minerals in item hangar.
R-Click reaction and "use" it. Same as making fuel blocks.
So why would we still need to wait or is it a ploy for more "needed" structures?

Looks like no longer Winter for the drilling platforms.

updates.eveonline.com has been updated to only say 2017 for the drilling platforms (was previously Winter 2016/17).

Fanfest has been added, so not likely to see drilling platforms before April now.

lats year they moved citadels form winter (which is typically dec 20th - March 20th) to after fan fest. My guess is these will have a massive impact on the economicly and sov stuff, so expect it to be the center piece of fan fest. prolly to come out the first chance after
