Little Assault Frigate Buff

Assault Frigate's role bonus should include a 50 -75% reduction to the effects of heat damage. This could emphasize their "assault" role more by allowing them to stay in the pressure cooker longer with better repairs and damage; while simultaneously better equipping them to run down faster targets by forcing them to overheat for longer than they are capable. A bonus like this could help the ships be more competitive with their contemporaries for bursts of time without overshadowing them completely and thus becoming menacing.

Man something needs t o be done abouts the resources they require to build... Or something...cuz their prices right now are bs.... They should cost an average of 4 mil since they are below cruisers, not no 25 mil, double the price of cruisers.

lol they are T2 you pay more for a miner increase. that's how they all work besides in my experience AFs beat most T1 cruisers so that still seems right

Could look at how current t1 frigs are bonused and build upon that?
Then also add t3 battleships and industrials and capitals, melted nanoribbons are barely worth the effort to farm these days and need some kind of buff to increase their value Big smile
I think people complaining about t3's being OP haven't looked at other t1 and t2 ship classes wich haven't even seen rebalancing yet wich affects alot of other areas.

When was hacs rebalanced or black ops, capital ships? T2 cov op frigs are pretty sad in 1 vs 1 against other ships in similar range that in some cases are even cheaper to fly.
T1 battleships and some of the cruiser and bc need some kind of help too.
And a cloak t3 cruiser can't dunk a gila as easy anymore Evil

No they weren't. A few were. A few of everything always are bad. As a class though, AF's were in a pretty decent place, again making provision for the few that still needed help.

AF were some of the most popular ships in FW and harpies were used as a fleet doctrine. T3D invalidated a lot of ship classes when they hit (still do).
