After time away really appreciate CCP's professionalism

Been away for half a year or more playing other MMO's. There is that old saying you don't know what you have till its gone. Boy oh boy CCP are really the best MMO company out there.

They don't try and milk the player base in a mad cash grab.

They listen to the community.

They are constantly balancing and adding content.

Most of all they are honest and transparent with their player base.


Thank you for being such a great game developer CCP.

Having been gone for four years myself, I am in complete agreement with your statement. CCP have learnt the hard way not to tell fibs, or to hide stuff from their playerbase.

So true,even with all the flops past,present,and most certainly future CCP will own all that and make them company lore to laugh or awkwardly acknowledge as the years go on. I'm still laughing about the boot ini. flop to this day for example.

CCP posting again on their ALTs to hype the community to move towards a certain direction.

Its called inception, and you know it works on this community player base with so many internet and overall intelligence delinquents.


Path of exile does the same, companies post on forums using regular accounts to create a momentum and an idea in the community.

EVE Online is one of the very few MMOs left that are still worth playing.

Fair play to CCP for keeping it going as long as they have.

Sorry to get so distracted from your facinating post, but..... your picture...... did you not realise that inflating body parts with an entire gas cylinder was going to be excessive? The thought of a full body picture fills me with horror.

Edit distraction over, I welcome our new CCP overlords, definately a hell of an improvement on our old CCP overlords.

Also Somehow, marketing has evolved into something worthwhile and effective, and no longer makes me want to gnaw both my legs off In frustration.

Well, not sure if they evolved or were killed off by a giant meteor strike, and the new marketing replaced them, but either way, well done.

I've had my fair share of gripes with CCP over the years to be sure, but the fact that I'm still here and still playing (albeit intermittently) 10+ years later speaks volumes.

I once had a character naming issue where I wanted to change the name of a newly created character. I don't remember the details at all but apparently they allowed me to change it after I submitted a ticket. I went back on fourth with a CCP staff person like four times giving them names that I'd like. Each time he said that they were taken and asked me to try again, lol. I was being a hassle to him but he was being professional, helpful, and humorous. These people are great.
