Simulation velocities and align times don't match actual ship

Like it says, when I use the simulation, the velocities and align times don't match my actual ship. What's up with that?

Does it match the ship without skills?

It shouldn't.

The simulation creates a dummy brain from the current pilot, so skills match.

I am not sure about implants though, but I think they are included too. I'll see if I can get confirmation and post back here.

After asking CCP Karkur whether implants are included in the simulated brain, her reply:

Forest Gump here found the problem. My super cool Covert Ops cloaking device was on when I went into simulation mode.
