Operation WormBear is launching a ‘pilot’ training program for players interested in joining high class wormhole space. We are taking applications from Omega clones of all skill and experience levels and can teach you whether you are new to high-class WHs, new to WHs entirely, or even new to EVE.


Overview
New pilots will be expected to achieve a certain set of skills within the first weeks of their life in wormholes. They will also be expected to learn and be able to demonstrate use of some basic proficiencies related to wormhole life. This will include some formal tests for things like awareness, scouting, survival, and hunting. Finally, they will be expected to display a certain level of activity by joining fleets as well as scanning down the chain.


What we expect from you:

• First and foremost we expect you to actively work on making isk. There are lots of ways to do this, and we will help you learn how and get you started. Isk is vital to your survival, but is also necessary for you to have fun, and ultimately to keep you engaged with the corp.
• Be active and participate in ops! We want pilots who are going to contribute to the corp by flying with us or scanning, scouting, and just living it up in J-Space. What we don’t want is people who log on, tend to PI or huff gas solo and then peace out. There are no requirements for hours logged or ops attended. Real life comes first and schedules vary, but we expect that over time you will be a familiar face and become known for just being active.
• Train into the skills required for Wormhole life. You don’t need to have all of them at the start, and we will help you with what is required. All we expect is that you focus on these at the start of your career with us.
• Log in to TS3. We prefer you to be able to speak there, but if you can’t do that then you at least need to be able to listen.
• Be in the standing fleet at all times if you are undocked anywhere in the chain.
• Pay attention to the Intel channel (both posting AND reading)

Our focus is PVP, but we also spend time on PVE in our chain to make sure we have lots of fun ships to fly. All timezones are welcome to apply, we have a strong presence during the EU and US timezones, but are generally active around the clock. Check out our ad for more info on who we are.
