Sounds like something a hi-sec miner would say, honestly.

If I had a super and my balls had actually, you know, dropped, I would be all over that ****.

I'm pretty sure the vast majority of null-sec do not have any answer to supers dropping on their Rorqual mining fleets. Yet, nobody is really dropping anything on them by the looks of things. I'd have thought PL would have a field day every single day of the week but I guess they aren't that elite after all. Just a bunch of casuals playing this game now days?

Go ahead, hotdrop your super fleet on a PL mining fleet. I believe the technical term for that activity is "welping"?

I think you're far overestimating how many Rorquals are out there that can be killed. Most people I know have stopped using them and the few who do, don't use the industrial core. They're sitting ducks now, waiting to be slaughtered, unless you're in one of the few groups who can form a sizable, organized defense fleet within 5 minutes or who already have such a fleet up 24/7.

I've several Rorquals myself and they'll stay docked, unless CCP removes the requirement to siege the Rorqual for maximum fleetboosts.

Well said. I don't have one but some of my mates do, we're in drop range of PL and NC. so smart people keep them docked, and make use of the new Porpoise for boosts.

Amazing how the OP blames null when high sec turned into safe Mining Orca city.

Who is blaming null for anything?

The mineral prices are in a downward spiral. I dont know how CCP could overlook this when they changed the Rorqual. Maybe its intentional? Driving down mineral prices so that Alphas can buy their Vexors for 5mil?

Mineral prices _beside_ zyd and mega are going down. The alphas are solving the 5M vexor problem all by themselves. There are not enough Rorquals around to actually do anything to the market and I would not wonder if the mineral output of 0.0 actually went down because of the gank link changes.

If you take all the sand out of the box, only the cat poo will remain.

Your only kidding yourself then. Rorquals are mining more then ever. 1 Rorqual can do as much as 5 hulls I think it is.. if they have miners to clear out mercoxit they can clear asteroid atoms faster then any mining fleet would before

Well I was just waiting for a thread where people who mine in high sec (under the automated protection of CONCORD) started to complain about people mining in null sec while only being able to depend on themselves and other real people for help.

And now it's here! Good old GD, never making me wait long.

Deep inside blue territory you are acutally safer than in high sec. No space should allow you to make 400mill ISK/h in easymode, with little to no risk.

I dont have a problem with stong null sec mining, but with the new Rorqual its too strong IMO and it mainly benefits the big guys like PL or Goons, who are already filthy rich.

A misconception that is popular amongst people who dont live in 0.0
