Refunded a million SP - no idea why

Hi All,

In a decade of playing eve I dont think I've ever posted in here.

Logging in after Ascension I see that I have over a million SP refunded and I have no idea why. I've checked the patch notes and searched for 'refund' & 'skill points' and didn't find anything regarding a refund.

Does anyone know what I've missed. Its enough SP for a level 5 refund and I don't appear to be missing any new skill that I wasn't missing before, or planned to not have.

It's a nice thing of CCP to do that. I have so many characters to keep track of, that there is now way I will find out if something like this happens. So it's up to their good will.

They should probably think about sending it out as an in-game misc notification, it's easy to miss.

any idea which skills where affected? I have lots of L5 skills and not seen this

I recently noticed that I have 13,887,032 of 1,024,000 points in the Logistics Frigates skill. It shows on Eveboard, EVEMon, and in game. I sort of shrugged it off and didn't pay any attention to it until I saw this thread. Is this the same issue? A 12 million SP overrun seems a bit much. I guess I will open a ticket and find out.

There is an issue with the Ascension patch concerning the allocation of all SP since last login before the patch into the skill being trained at that point in time. This led to skills be trained over level 5. There is a thread concerning this in the bugs forum.
