Feature Request:
Allow citadel name ( [Citadel #1,021,535,385,172]) to be renamed in the client for ease and readability.
Allow user to add details client side to detail system, region, etc for citadels.
Allow use of above renamings to be used to filter results.

When I have assets in 20 different citadels it is difficult keeping track of their locations is difficult when they are named Citadel # 209348234324u32423u43i24u34i32u43oi2u423oi5u23oi5u23oi5u23oiy235ouy235iu.

Until it's done, you can add the citadels to the API jEveAssets uses instead: The Great Structure Hunt (This will also help all users of jEveAssets and others who use the same API)

I'm not sure which update is causing this, but it's one in the past month or so.

For one of my profiles, when I pull new data, it deleted all of my prior journal and transaction history entries. Luckily, I could restore from an old xml file with dropbox, dated Oct 31st, so I haven't lost anything.

When I put the old version back in, update, the same thing occurs again, so it's reproducable.

Save Journal and Transaction History are both checked.

The xml file goes from 35mb down to 2mb when I update.

My other profile does not have this issue, though it is around the same size. The profile that isn't having the problem is the default.

Hopefully that's enough info for you to track it down.

Thank you for your bug report.
A quick look at the code did not show anything wrong.
Could you zip the profile xml file and send it to my email (my email is on the wiki).
If it's reproducable, it should be easy to fix, once I have the file.

I updated my Java version and it looks like the error above went away.
However, the program did not import the Location and Region information from the API.
Still listed as [Unknown Location #1021705628874]

The implementation of the citadel API is not perfect, you may need to restart jEveAssets after updating from the citadel API, for all the locations to be corrected. I have fixed this for the next feature version of jEveAssets, but, it's a major change I can not release in a bug fix version.

If restarting jEveAssets does not fix the problem, please, post here again and I will look into it ASAP :)

I read the last few pages and didn't see this feature request:

Would you consider adding Skill points as an asset and mathing extractor + injector costs to translate to a value?

My stand is that skills is outside the scope of jEveAssets. I try to keep the scope to assets only, to avoid making jEveAssets bloatware. I only have a limited amount of time to work on jEveAssets, so, it helps to keep the scope focused on assets. I already have a lot of features in the backlog, that are related directly to assets. So, I have to decline this feature. However, onces you convert your skillpoints to assets, they will show up in jEveAssets.

I will also suggest you ask the developers of some of the other 3rd party software, if they want to include this feature.
There is a lot of other good software, where this feature may fit better in the scope.
