Ive just want him to be training something. Even if its slow and not all the skills.... better than nothing


this, I will let run out my sub just to train those 2 other characters on my account up when in Alpha mode.. it's kind of stupid that I can not have those trained as Alpha right away

Except he is entitled and there is no problem. Canceling his sub to train a second character to Alpha is stupid.

well dude, i understood his 'problem', my issue was, why is it a 'problem'?

if the current SP of his 2nd character is less than the Alpha clone, cause probably an old 1, then delete that 2nd character and make a new one, tada, SP level same as Alpha clone. What?

I recommend he creates an Alpha account on a Recruit A Friend code from his main account, and subs it.

That way he can use the reward Time/PLEX to multitrain his 3rd character on the main account.

As well as flying both his main and secondary account simultaneously as Omega.

His secondary Omega account will also get a month of training +250kSP, which is a good basis for starting the framework of a 2nd account.

CCP has not updated all their FAQS on Recruit a Friend, and i cba to research for you, but be careful you pay for the Alphas upgrade to Omega with the correct payment forms, or it might void the offer.

So for one Sub (possibly PLEX or timecodes, check yourself), you get a free Sub/PLEX + 250K SP + ability to tly two Omegas simultaneously.

If he's actually not playing the Omega currently... or has multiple accounts and can "afford" for this to lapse, it's actually not that horrid of an idea, I guess.

You save some cash, but pay with time (logging in to set new 24 hr queue, and slower training time.)

Not something I would do personally, but there could be a niche, but rational, reason to do so.

You can still find something to do with an alpha that would warrant logging off your omega account and use the extra character slots for free instead of paying for a second account. Hence you did not loose acces to that free element

You do understand Alpha clones are heavily restricted in what skills they can train and how much? Chances are if you want to train one of your Omega characters, making it an Alpha will change nothing besides not allowing you to use non-Alpha skills.

Most Alpha-skills are so basic you'd need a totally new character to profit from Alpha-training. And then you can just make a new account anyway, problem solved.
