Meow

How come NPC's in high sec are so much smarter than those in null?

Afk ratting seems a norm in null with drones. Yet if you tried this in high sec while missioning or doing a noob combat site, say goodbye to your drones!

I propose dumber npc's like in null. That is all.

Or, smarter rats in null.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

Because afk ratting techniques also involve a way to hold the aggro.

I think it is dependent on the day of the week.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: Drones stay okay in null
Wednesday: 50:50
Friday, Saturday, Sunday: Be very careful with your drones

That's my observation so far.

Eve Minions is recruiting.

This is the law of ship progression!

It depends heavily on your ship's fit, the site you are running, and the distance you stay from the rats. So, I can fairly easily go AFK in my current Ishtar in certain sites, but if I adjust the fit some, they might shoot my drones. Meanwhile, the rats always shoot my drones in a Guristas 7/10, but never in a Guristas 6/10. And, if I burn too far away from the warp in, the rats might decide they like to shoot my drones.

Also, when I ran missions, I noticed that certain kinds of rats in certain missions ALWAYS tried to kill my drones, while others would latch onto my ship like it was the last thing they were ever going to do in this universe (it was...).

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.
