Best way to farm faction tags solo?

I'm flying a T2 fit VNI, and I want to try to farm faction tags for faction bps. Any suggestions?

Since you posted this under missions and complexes, I'm assuming you're looking for high-sec alternatives to low-sec Faction Warfare tag farming. In truth, other than the occasional L3/L4 mission that offers Empire tags - there really aren't a lot of options other than acquiring them through the market. Note that opposing Empire Faction standings will take a hit if you go this route.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Enemies Abound is a pretty descent source of Gallente tags since it's a string of 5 missions, though one is a courier op and another is against the Minmatar (so tank for them may need to be altered on you Navy Vexor). Been a long while since I ran it though as it's a very fast way to trashing your Gal/Min standings. There's a few other faction missions that might be good too, but that's the only one besides An Advantageous Catastrophe (which last I remember wasn't worth the time to complete and yielded mostly some low-tier tags), so no telling how they would fair. Never ran any other faction missions since I never had the standings to run them for the Gallente or Minmatar, and those two were the only ones the Amarr and Caldari ever offered me across several dozen L4 agents, the cheap-skates Evil.

Besides that, as Arthur suggested, the market may be your best bet for bulk tag collection, especially if there are particular one's you are looking for. Not as cheap, but much faster and less hassle is what you pay for then I guess. Agents are ***-holes anyways.

P.S.: a like-virgin you are no longer! Stay safe and fly dangerous, mate.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

I'm not completely averse to FW play, I just didn't know where else to post this. Is FW a good source of tags? I've done some LP farming in outposts, but haven't put a lot time in killing the NPC's.

Yes, FW is the best source for tags. Usually you can kill large complex NPC in properly fitted assault frigate, but I think stealth bomber or hecate will be best tools for that for safe travel reasons.

The faction rats in FW outposts respawn after 1 to 2 minutes I believe. Find a backwater system and just sit in one plinking the rats and looting the tags. If you are not in FW, the timer in the outposts do not go down.

find a clump of agents and blitz missions until you get one that drops faction tags. farm the mission, aka kill everything but the completion npc/structure, loot, and leave it till it respawns at down time. you have 7 days to complete it until then farm it once daily and loot the tags.

This man gets it. Can get real dull though if you concurrently end up with too many of the same mission just doing it over and over.
