Emergency downtime on Thursday, January 19

Hello capsuleers,

Due to ongoing server issues we will be taking Tranquility offline for a reboot at 01:20 UTC and are expecting to be back online at 01:35 UTC. We will use this thread to keep you updated with any further news.

Please accept our apologies for this unscheduled downtime.

Update: Downtime has been extended to 02:00 while investigation is ongoing.

Update 2: Downtime has been extended to 02:10 UTC to facilitate a further reboot.

Nothing to do with Time Dilation. Operations are investigating the root cause but we know for sure that Time Dilation is not a factor.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

Actually, Operations have informed me that a full hardware reboot was required in order to clear out some server to database connection problems.

I don't doubt they have some sort of adult beverage dispensing service in house but I do doubt they have one in the data-center. Takes a monstrous amount of power for all those Amiga II's duct taped together that run things ;)

Not like they equate what we were doin, in game, at the time of the crash to anything worth reimbursing...
