Hello General Discussion!

Even if you're not a big social media person, Twitter is an amazing way to connect with other Eve Online players, share screenshots, movies no longer than 2:20 or 512MB.. it works like an old RSS Reader in a way and you can search by hashtags like #EveOnline or the big one CCP promotes is #tweetfleet. It's really a great platform!

It's also very easy to switch between accounts in case you're like me and you have a separate one for your real life and your New Eden persona.

Thought maybe it would be okay to sort of plant this idea seed in all the new or old, returning eyes that are here browsing the forums. Smile

Thanks for your time. Smile

Totally agree with the OP.

Often here in the forums we are a bit negative to modern social networks and prefer the older forum style. Nothing wrong wth that at all.

At the same time. It can also be good to be part of a network where the messages you are interested in, find you rather than having to actively look for them like here.

Twitter really is a great way to connect to other eve players that way. It's easy to connect to people like CCP Seagul, devs, CSM members and other people in the community and when they tweet, you see their messages, without having to wade through off topic posts, trolling and rubbish opinions you're not interested in.
