rorq drones cost more than the entire rorq + 100% insurance.

just like the title says. 3.5B isk currently @ jita prices for a full flight of drones + 5 run bpc.


ok, i know they're supposed to be expensive but... jesus ******* christ. more than the ******* ship+insurance? no t1 alternative? ffs. yes, i know i have a rorq, but 3.5B is still a lot of cash for me, especially if i have to fork over 2x this just to do ice and ore mining.

It'll go down with time, don't worry. It's ridiculously high right now because the BPC's aren't very common. Give it a month or so when BPC's become more common, and you'll see cheaper drones.

The patch came out yesterday. My thought is supply and demand... High demand, limited supply, prices rise. Give it a month, let prices stabilize and more material to reach the market and prices will drop.

As per usual New and exciting stuff is way more expensive than later on as the dust settles. Early adopter and all..

Since you get insurance back + people don't include the price of insurance in the price of a ship.

OK, Noob remark time, i did look it up in the patch notes, but the excavators only fit on a rorq right? Big smile

and... rorq still can't enter hi sec right?

Huh. Massively inflated prices on a new desirable faction item the day after it comes out. That's totally never happened before.

Keep in mind the only image we've seen of a drilling platform seems to be anchored INSIDE a belt.

It is entirely possible you can get HS use out of these by anchoring a drilling platform in the future, and highly possible people will gank them more easily than real mining ships.
