The undocking of ponderous animation is still tagged to Dynamic Camera Movement. Considering the long delay then silence on fixing some lingering complaints on the New Camera, it might be a while before it's divorced from that checkmark toggle. Wasn't the other workaround involving zooming camera range?

this is only nostalgic thing that i had for years in eve.

im not telling that new voice is bad... but that was the voice that was with me for decade already.
just why?

I don't get you guys. Why would you want to make a deal with someone you pay for doing something you want? That's like telling a car dealer "Ok the car doesn't work, but if you give me a free car wash I'll let it slip."

That's not how it works. You are not a slave to CCP. You are not obliged to pay for this game. It is the other way around: they are obliged to deliver a game that you consider worth paying for. You are very much allowed to make demands when you hand them your monthly fee and with that essentially pay a fraction of their salary. And if they do something that offends the majority of the players, then you politely say "Thank you, but no thanks. Now fix it." And if they refuse to change it back, you in response refuse to pay them any further. And if they realize you are serious about your demands, things suddenly change. Because: guess how many people at CCP will receive a salary in December if all players spontaneously quit.

It's only 4 years that I joined but I'm still amazed that EVE is running now for 13 years as a sandbox 'game' (almost) 24/7. Well, I used to be amazed.

Ever since CCP announced the shorter interval of expansions/changes EVE seems to be... unfinished. I think CCP Phantom himself states it perfectly in his community spotlight "Good perparation and adequate planning are also rare because often things are done in a slap-bang method..."

'Small' things I stumbled upon (most of them already mentioned)
- Aura (who sounds like the "Please ask your physician or pharmacist about the risks and side effects." in a medicine TV ad)
- Asteroids you can't target from space any more
- un/docking delays
- balancing ships (Rorqual! )
- as a subscriber still being on alpha clone
- reaction time of custom service

I understand that you need to change and adapt to 'survive'. Every patch/expansion has the risk of bugs and errors. I just whish that CCP would take more time to prepare and to test in advance. It appears CCP follows the general trend of getting rid of quality contro, releasing a work in progressl and let the customer do the rest. Lower the pace for the sake of quality.

So while the new explosions are pretty damn awesome, the camera reset delay looks to have been broken, which means while viewing a ship as it dies the camera jumps right back to the players ship.

No admiring new explosions.

This was something CCP changed not long ago. Fix pls. Again

It occurred to me I might be waiting awhile for a response to my support ticket my launcher gives the error my e-mail address is not supported....

It almost like that Dilbert cartoon where they have to send an e-mail to let IT know that the e-mail server is down...

And I can't log in to my account to change my e-mail either.

Would it really be so much to ask for an option to choose between the old and new voice of Aura, CCP?

I know the old one has been replaced with the new, but you've obviously still got the old files - which I know aren't that big in size, as I'm a Sound Designer myself - so adding these back in for the spoken commands as a second option shouldn't be too difficult. Nor would it have a great impact on the game in any way.
You'd just be enabling your players to play in a way that many (as should be obvious by now) prefer. Instead of just ripping something that they have come to love and have grown accustomed to away from under their noses for no apparent reason.

Also, since such a vast amount of players have been complaining about this change, I think it would only be fair for a Dev to at least finally comment on this change as to why it was made in the first place and what our prospects are regarding this matter.

I came back (as alpha) after a long break to see how this new expansion would turn out, and even though I'm sure that I will get used to all the other changes, when I first heard this new (terrible) voice for Aura I was shocked and, quite frankly, pissed off.
So as long as we haven't had a definitive statement from a Dev regarding this matter, I will certainly not be upgrading to Omega state.
Don't get me wrong, I know one subscriber more or less won't keep you awake at night, but at least it's one of the very few ways I have left to show that I don't agree with your choices. As, as someone else said before me, I'm not a slave to CCP and am not obliged to pay you.
