Can I play Eve yet?

Made a support ticket 13 hours ago (Support Request #295456) and I've yet to get a response. My other account has been unable to receive authentication or verification emails because the email it was linked to was deleted. I recreated the email but I still don't get anything from CCP/Eve to it.

The ticket doesn't say how long the average wait is or what to expect so I've just been refreshing the page every hour or so.... Could some GM reply to my ticket with an ETA or even just a ballpark idea of how long I'll have to wait for a response? Also, I'm sure others are in this situation so why not make a public statement about the situation that can set some kind of expectation for assistance?

Eve tickets are triaged. Anything affecting current gameplay, like stuck ships or missions in progress are at the top. Anything that can be solved quickly are next, with the greater time and effort requests going to the bottom of the pile.

So effectively, people are constantly jumping in front of you. Today was a major expansiion day, and lots of people are having stuck problems with the tutorial and other general newbie help questions. But considering this is a patch day, and your problem requires a GM to look at your personal records, it will probably take days. Sorry.

My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.

When you filled your support ticket did you include any other accounts you use with your new email address.

Did you include your old email address in the ticket?. Dob and name in the account management.

Because all accounts are email linked ccp wil prob take a bit longer to resolve to ensure your the right account holder. Plus alot of chars are in the same position. Chill, have a brew and sit back. Might take a while

there are many players who have authentication issues atm. give it a day or two till ccp fixes those things.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

Had the same issue with one of my accounts yesterday. Got a reply from a GM 1 hour later with the request for more informations and shortly after that the problem was solved. Just to "break a lance" for the customer support here Blink

That was the morning before the new update, possible that they have to deal with much more requests from new / returning accounts since the Alpha status is aviable.

Try this:
Run launcher as administrator, open your mail box, try to log in into the game, dont close launcher, wait for mail from CCP with number, if it comes in 10 minutes, copy it into launcher and press continue button, you should log in. It worked for me. But I actually had an issue with cookies not enabled and long wait times for email to arrive.

Just allow toons to login without email-vefify, then we can select an active email account, seemed to work fine before yesterday would also save support a lot of time

EVE tickets are generally answered in 24 hours. Sometimes more when situations like this occur. Please be patient and they will get to you as soon as they can.
