Skill Loss.

I had recently trained these skills

Skill trained photo

Upon logging in today I noticed that my skill queue had been reset to training Thermal Shield Compensation III, whereas when I had checked last night I was already an hour or two into training Industry IV. Interestingly my SP total appears to be correct, but I'm not certain of this.

Has anyone experienced similar issues?

This is a repost from the feedback thread in the Info Center forum.

EDIT: I've found where I think the missing SP went. As stated below by Kharnakh, the SP appears to have gone into the skill that was last trained before a certain timeframe. Thus, I have Kin. Shield Compensation IV and a 4% extra.

I lost about 4 weeks of skill training on one char, and about 2 weeks on another. not sure about two other alts but they probably lost skill training as well. As far as I can tell anyway. :/

One of my characters went back to Nov 1, losing Large Hybrid 1-4 and tactical shield 2-4. It seems my other account remained where I expected it to be.

same here in 4 of my accounts have lost training time, checked with evemon saying trained on there , lost roughly about a week & ewhen u have 3 chars training on the same account thats 3 weeks i need to get back

Same here. Lost training time on my main acct but the app I use to track my characters is showing the correct amount. Very weird.

Was just about to buy a toon off a mate through the character bazaar when we noticed today its lost approx 28 days with of skilling, including gallente Industrial 5

I lost SP as well. Logged in, before I was halfway through training Caldari Battleship V. Suddenly I hear a ding so I looked at my alerts to see i just completed Caldari Battleship 1 lol.

Even worse, this same issue is happening on all 3 characters on my account.

Looks like at least one of my accounts reverted 18 days of training. So either CCP should be giving us all a boatload of free SP to make up for this, or they are going to have to restore the stats of all characters from before the patch.

Actually the SP might be there but allocated to the wrong skills by the update.

Looking at my skills through evemon, I noticed that some skills ended up with more SP than before.

For example, Amarr industrial has 1,393,913 SP however it is supposed to max out at 1,024,000 SP.

I lost 22 days worth of skill points with this. Opened a ticket, I'm not pasting the response (that's not allowed, right?), but the gist of it is:

Devs are aware of this issue
They don't have a timeframe for the fix
They emphasize the issues won't be fixed by opening individual tickets
Reimbursement will be done on global scale

I wish they could be more specific about what kind of reimbursement. Additionally, how would they know how much SP each person lost and take that into account?

I would assume it would be reimbursed as the skills lost, and if you've trained the lost skills during this, the amount you've trained would be reimbursed as unallocated skill points.

99.9999% sure that they have the logs/backups.

I am having a similar issue, the skills I trained have dissapeared and have some how found them selves into controlled burst.
Evemon just updated to this:

I mean unless if this is going to give me 0 cap use given I am now beyond a master of controlling my cap we have a problem here.

I have lost two months of skill training, including Advanced Weapons Upgrades V, Large projectile V, and several gunnary skills. My total skill points seems consistent. I am almost afraid to log onto my other account.

The issue seems to be that following the expansion patch, when you log in the game is applying skillpoints to whatever you were training when you last logged in the character, rather than following the skill queue.

In my case according to the api I had 2 days 17 hours left of Wing Command IV, but after logging in on patch day I have 4 days of training in Warfare Link Specialist V, and WC4 started training from scratch (6 days 20 hrs).

This appears to be because I was training link specialist IV when I last logged in a few days prior, and after the patch eve has just applied all the training time to that skill, even though level 5 was never queued.

I only lost a week's worth of skills, so I'm not too miffed about this. It's a bit of a shame, but I'm not sure if I should even bother sending a ticket for a skill refund...

All I have lost is the belive in EVE online.

I wanted to log in... my subscribed char is suddenly an Alpha char and some skills are lost... wtf
According to the char sheet, it is an Omega Clone, but it behaves like an Alpha.

I am paying for the playtime, not for the skills... so CCP has to reimburst my game time I cannot use my char.
The should not give me some "free unallocated" SPs...

Haven't played for the last 3 months and I logged in the day after the patch to see whats new.
Seems 90 days of skills are gone even though my aura app on my phone said my battleship 5 was done and a bunch of other
capital skills. Really hoping they fix this or I just don't see myself playing eve. Fingers crossed.
