Forced two factor authentication

log in this morning only to find out all my accounts are locked by two factor i did not enable....not cool ccp some of us have emails tied to old email accounts that cant be accessed..

this needs to be disabled and opt in only not forced

have the code work for 10 mins and you recieve the mail after half a hour, not cool either.

This was a known change that they announced in the dev blog about the EULA changes over a month ago, they said to make sure to update your emails to new ones PRIOR to the expansion date.

What if you already updated and verified your email before ascension and you still don't get your tfa code? Because that's what is happening to me.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

Would be better if they'd informed people via one of the Eve news emails they send sometimes. To your email account. Rather than in a dev blog. Which Alpha clone new guys and Omega clone lazy guys (like me) may not read. In other words, relying a dev blog for communicating something as fundamental as account access probably isn't that good.

So we're supposed to read the dev blog now if we don't want to get ****** in the ass in the future ?

1. The email verification change was announced about a month ago.
2. Opening multiple tickets on the same issue will cause further delays. Please update your ticket not file a new one.
