The annoyance of two-factor auth

Don't get me wrong from the subject, I'm all for that additional layer of safety for my accounts - I'm just baffled by how much of a nuisance you turned that into.

I'm using one mail address for both my accounts, why did I (since yesterday) need to verify that 6 times so far? Apart from that, why do I need to request a seperate two-factor auth (I'll dub it TFA onwards) for each of my toons? I don't even want to imagine the workload for people wanting to log in their miniature armies of 5 and more toons each day.

Please, CCP, reconsider your method of TFA or at least eXplain the reasoning behind the current procedure. For everyone's convenience I myself would suggest looking into the following:

Whenever I want to log in (multiple) accounts, only one TFA is generated and sent for each of the mail addresses involved in the process. Most people would use as few mails as possible already I imagine so that would streamline the whole process.
So basically instead of "enter the TFA code for account [xyz]" and having to repeat that process for each of my accounts it could be "enter the TFA code for e-mail [xyz@whatever.com]".
I don't know how long each current TFA code sent is valid for (as it doesn't say that in the mail I got - please add that info to it) but invalidating it after, say, 15 minutes would give everyone plenty of time to log in as many toons as they have tied to one e-mail address.
If you then need to reconnect any amount of accounts and your first TFA code is invalidated, you will get another TFA code generated and sent for each e-mail address involved again.
This process should still apply to TQ and each of the test servers seperately, to keep that layer up individually for each you may want to log on.
