I've always been on and off with Eve. On one hand its like the game of my dreams, a sandbox space game. On the other I really struggle finding people to play it with and earning isk. So I've got a few questions for people who really enjoy EvE and those who make millions on an off day.

1. What is the best way to make isk with low skills?

My skills tend to be a bit all over the place (I can fly mining barges and almost t2 frigates and only recently remembered to get the skills for damage control 2.)

I started off learning mining skills, but then realised that **** is boring AF and pays **** unless I mine in 0.0 or below. I've started trying some manufacturing skills but then I'm not sure if it is worth the time.

I also tried a little exploration out but I have trouble finding space without people in in in 0.0 sec and before making this post got killed in a bobble. So I'm not sure if I'm doing that right haha.

2. What is the most fun you can have in eve?

I've meddled in PvP with cheap frigates, but it's hard to really know what your doing/get into that playing solo.

3. How the **** do I find a Australian corporation?

My time-zone makes things hard, so I would either have to find a asian or austrlian time-zoned corp. I would love to join a corp that does fun stuff like Pvp or something but I don't really know where to look and the corp-recruitment channel is a joke.

1. Sell PLEX
2. Being afk / playing other games
3. Decent corps have closed recruitment anyway

Fun is subjective.

Do you prefer strategic or tactical gameplay - a planner or a doer?

Do you want to interact with other players in the market or on the battlefield - builder or destroyer?

Are you looking for social or solo gameplay - either preference or imposed by real life constraints?

Is in-game wealth important to you or are you happy to supplement your in-game income by buying an occasional PLEX from CCP so you can focus on what you enjoy rather than grinding ISK?

Are you a specialist or a generalist - jack of all trades or master of one?

There are no right or wrong answers - we are all unique individuals, but the beauty of the sandbox is there is no predetermined endgame - as long as you are enjoying yourself, you are doing it right.

So - if you think you'll enjoy PVP join a FW militia - CalMil would love to get more pilots from the AUTZ!http://crossingzebras.com/aivonen-falls-at-last/

You can find corporations in your time zone that focus on stuff you think you'll enjoy using the in-game recruitment tool (corporate app on neocom) or the recruitment forum here. If you make the wrong choice, and it happens, it's easy to leave and try again. Most of us try a few things before settling into a career in real life - why should it be any different in-game?

1. Probably running FW plexes. Minimal SP is needed. Just grab a T1 frigate and shoot a NPC rat every few minutes until the plex timer runs out. You can probably make 25-40m isk per hr, which is good for low SP.

2. I found FW PVP to be the most fun. For PVE, it's low sec / null / WH exploration.

3. dunno :)

When you say FW plexes, what does that mean? Not familiar with the abbreviations of stuff yet. I too am just getting back into the game after about 6-7 years off, and would like to not have to keep paying real money just to play, but dont want to be limited to just cruisers and below.

FW is "Faction Warfare". It is great for low skills pvp, as there are some restrictions on ship size that can get into different sites. Search for "Faction Warfare" on Eve Uni.
