EVE Fanfest 2017 -- When are people arriving?

Hey guys o/

Just thought I'd open a thread which people could use to meet up BEFORE the Fanfest 2017 gets fully underway.


I'm flying into Reykjavik on the 4th April @1500.
If anyone else is in Iceland on that date, and needs someone to chill with, let me know Big smile

I'll be running to the hotel quickly to drop my stuff off, but after that I'll be up for getting drinks, and probably something to eat. Would be great to make some new friends while I'm at it Big smile

I'll be there Monday the 3rd, return Monday 10th.

I got there the afternoon before last fanfest and didn't really have time to see anything, so an extra few days were called for this time :)

I rented an apartment, drinks on the 4th sounds great, we'll sort it closer to the date but around the old harbour is good.

Well, Fanfest is all about meeting people for me, so count me in!

I, too, am staying at Klöpp, expect to arrive there around 17-ish on the 4th, flying from ARN. (For any Fanfest rookies, I encourage you to play spot-the-capsuleer at your local airport. Eavesdrop and eye people like you're a security threat! Hm, a bit like Eve tbh...)

I arrive at 1500... only a two hour wait between my arrival time and yours.... so I could wait for you at the airport if you're interested, and we can head over to Klöpp together? then get drinks? Cool

@Shalea: Appreciate the thought, and if that's what you want to do I won't stop you... But if I were in your shoes, I'd head straight to the hotel. Take a nap. Go for a walk. Have a coffee in the lobby. Anything's better than waiting at the airport IMO Smile

Have rented a house walking distance from Harpa. Most of us
from the US are landing at 0600 on the 5th.

Small update:

Anyone who is flying in on the 4th on the 5th, I am currently planning with friends I'm meeting, somewhere to either go out to eat, or go for drinks.... or both Cool
Everyone is welcome Big smile including any CCP Devs who may read this (assuming their not too busy/tired from all the fanfest organisation)

Okay so from what I understand, theres a large group of us going to Cafe Uno http://i.imgur.com/vANii1p.png on the 5th April, at around 1900 hours local time
I expect Space Pope will be there also, so come on down and join us Big smile

Getting pretty stoked for my tenth (and in all probability final*) Fanfest. It's been sneaking up on me quietly for a while, weeks going by in a flash, but now time seems to be slowing down. In other words: I can't wait. Big smile
