I'm currently using dual AMD R9 390 under crossfire but the second card is completely idle even though I choose the second card in eve setting.Sad

Any way to active my second card?Question

BTW, what about multiple Nvidia card?

Until recently I operated 2 x Asus GTX 680 2GB video cards, linked to 3 x 24 inch monitors. Both video cards were linked but all 3 monitors were connected to one card.

Recently one of the cards "died" & was removed. While waiting for my new PC I have been using my old PC with the one card. I have had to drop the number of characters I am running simultaneously & there is an appreciable drop in performance.

So I can say that the two linked cards operated better than one, although don't ask me for anything other than simple observation (not into the tech stuff).

My new PC will have 2 x Asus GTX 1080 aura cards (linked), so I am hoping for a huge uplift in performance. Will keep you posted if you like.

In windowed mode, just about anything will work. You can size the window to pretty much anything, and the window can span displays.

Spanning full-screen across multiple displays might be an issue; usually that is restricted to a single display without device support.

I always run in windowed mode.

Is the second card being seen in the Bios?.

Do the Cards both work under the catalyst suite.

May be of some use but I might be barking up the wrong tree

Crossfire does not seem to be supported, I assumed also that choosing the card in the menu might change the card that was used so two clients didn't have to share a card but that's not the case.

Shame, would be nice.
