I did update to the latest version, but got the same error. I'll try uninstalling older versions and report back.

The error only happens when you're not using java 8.
You can have both java 7 and java 8 installed. Additional java 7 won't auto update to java 8, most of the time.

Just note, that uninstalling java 7 and leaving java 8 sometimes creates problems. It's best to uninstall all version of java and then install the latest version of java 8.

The reprocess-calculation, are they based off character skill or assuming max skill?
Also, thanks a ton for the useful tool, its great and by now i donĀ“t understand half of how to use it efficiently.

You can change the skills and station efficiency used for the reprocessing calculations in the settings:
Options > Options > Reprocessing

The setting affect both the reprocessing tool and the reprocessing price used various places in jEveAssets.

Would be great if this project was ported over to android for tablets, phones and they are coming out with more android based stuff like android TV etc would be pretty cool to have jEveAssets on all android.

I know android use java, but, I don't think the desktop user interface would work very well on android. You need to design for touchscreens from the start, not as an afterthought. So, to run jEveAssets on android, I would have to rewrite the entire user interface. I think you're a lot better off trying to get the jEveAssets features you need implemented in the software already written for android. But, I do agree, that it would be pretty cool.

I'm getting strange asset locations, looking like "[Region -> Citadel #1,012,126,598,203]" with assets that I wish I had. Might have had them in the past but certainly not now. Even tried searching via the eve UI's asset list and could not find such items.

Tried completely deleting everything, including all user data and restarting from scratch with latest jeveassets version as well as java but I still get those weird assets which are in billions and kill my asset tracking.

Any advice? Tried searching a lot but could not find answers.

If you could both email me the numbers in the location column ex. "[Citadel NUMBER]" and the system you think the customs offices is in, I will look into it ASAP. I will try my best to find a fix for this issue.

@goldengnu - this is happening because I've added two new fields to the response - public and location.x/y/z. These return some info that's derived from the new structure endpoint on ESI. I suggest you ignore unexpected fields - I intend to add more in future (but not to remove any).

In case you haven't been keeping up, CCP have added a list of public structures to ESI, and they allow similar information to that provided by hammerti.me.uk to be downloaded about these public structures, and also any private structures that the user is on the ACL for. However if you have assets in a structure that you can't dock at, then you cannot retrieve any information about the structure via ESI, whereas you may be able to get this info from hammerti.me.uk.

So to get the most complete structure information, you may want to use both ESI and hammerti.me.uk - while both serve info about public structures, hammerti.me.uk may provide info about structures the user can't dock at, and ESI provides info about private structures the user can dock at.

I wanted to let you know that the software is working great. I am using it to keep track of a few hundred items I sell in a Fortizar market, and the stockpile feature is great for telling me when, what, and how much I need to import to keep it suppied.

Low-priority feature request:
When I have multiple APIs and want to update assets, but some of them aren't ready, could the software provide an indication of the longest wait? Example

About the feature request. The way it works now, is that it shows you how long there is to the earliest update. When you can update, that is now, so, it does not show anything.
If the dialog is to stay simple, it's impossible to add info for every accounts, as there is no limit to have many accounts you can add to jEveAssets. I don't see a good way to fix this without re-designing the entire dialog and adding complexity.

I wonder, though, how do you keep your account updates out of sync? it usually sync up while you sleep...

They definitely sync up when I sleep or wait longer 6 (?) hours, so it's not much of a problem.

This happens if I do a full update and then go to update again after only 4 (?) hours or so. My guess is that character APIs have a shorter cooldown than corporate APIs.

What I am really hoping for is for it to tell me how long until all of the APIs are ready to update again, so I can expect when I'll be able to get another full snapshot, if that makes sense.
