After watching corporations bounce between active and inactive i feel there should be a better activity identifier for the corporation itself. For example the corporation window has a last online tab and it shows when approximately the character logged out, only problem is that the Last Online window does not show very much information, it only shows hours, weeks and less than a month then more then a month.
I have found this information worthless and was hoping for a more detailed Last Online window that would show maybe the exact date when they were last online.

Corp activity being publicly visible would be invaluable to the npe. Right now corps can declare their hours of activity. The problem with this? They lie their ******* arses off. So it'd be nice if there was a metric for corp activity that was measured by the game.

Its a risk however, as this information is also useful to enemies.

why if its more than a month or week for everyone in the corp you can assume its gone inactive...

I was going more for something that would be visible to only people within the corporation, similar to what we already have just more detailed

Precisely, CEO and directors have access to the exact time and date every member of the corp was last online.
For the rest of the corp they have no need and no right to that information. The date and hours they are online is information that each player should have the right to control. But that is available to the CEO and directors and the response is that they need to have it as a way of monitoring the activities of the members of the corp for unwanted activity within the corp.
