I am physically disabled and use a mouth control and voice attack to play Eve.

I lost an Astero about a week ago which had a rather expensive armour repairer on board. I was in the middle of a relic hack in a 0.2 system and I didn’t realise I was being attacked until half my shield was gone. Even though I am a very old character PVP is something I have shied away from. I got myself into a bit of a mess know what to do first whether to try and warp away, trying attack back or whatever, needless to say I did everything wrong!

After this I looked back at the Astero fittings I was considering but they all needed Micro managing with cap and armour so I have put almost all my money into an buffer tank stratios. I did this because I felt the frigates are to fragile and want something a bit beefier. My setup has got 63K EHP and will have a armour repairer in the cargo hold. I prefer buffer tank because it’s one less thing to worry about so can just get on with killing whoever it is attacking me.

I need opinions on my setup and whether and active fitting would be better. I want to do wormholes exploration and low-level combat sites. Obviously I will have a mobile depot in my cargo hold along with a armour repairer and travel fit.

I have got all my skills up to level 4 and 5.

I second this ^

A tech 2 fitted covert ops frigate travels fast and safely, scans and hacks/analyses very well, and will hurt much less if it dies. Think warp core stabilizers and agility mods.
