Player Features and Ideas Discussion

Hi folks,

we all know that CCP announced, that they gonna release a set of faction capitals, where they started with the Serpentis ships.

For the Serpentis line they re-used the Galente hulls, which is totally fine considering the rest of the Serpentis ship-line. But for other factions having their pretty unique designs like the Mordus Legion, Sisters of Eve, Bloodraider and Angel Cartel it would be a little bit poor to just re-use the existings hulls.

For this reason I wrote them a mail, and they stated I shall post it here. :)

So as, if i recall correctly, the Mordus Legion is next I was thinking about them first of course.
I am not sure on how the Dreadnought or the Titan should look like, however about the Supercarrier I have the following idea.
We all know that the Legion designs are pretty flat and stealthy, so I was thinking what could fit for this design.

One day while serving on the Web I came across the following picture:

here I was thinking this could suit well.

So I was thinking about the mough of the mantaray could be the hangars entry, somewhat like the Nidhoggur, but a but more flat but wider. About the smaller fins at the mough of the manta Ray (these are used to get more food into the mouth) I was thinking they could be used as well maybe something like a sensor array guiding fighters and bombers into the hangar. And I was thinking they should not be flattened more like in a 45° to the the other fins. which should be present to give it the flat overall optics.

So about the tail of the Ray I was thinking this should somehat remain but maybe smaller. Now you maybe think but where to put the engines without this looking stupid and missplaced?
For this I was imagining staying inline with the Orthrus a bit who has engines on the fins as well as on the tail, so I was thinking the main engines of this supercarrier should be integrated into the big finns.

But to make it look cooler overall I thought about adding 2 additional finns on each side, wile right behind the main wing/fin, there should be another fin about 1/4th of the siize of the main finn, no engines added here but maybe additional sensors (maybe for the Jump-Mechanic) or something, and behind this another even smaller fin (about 1/5th of the biggest fin) where some additional engines are placed though smaller ones maybe more maneuvering engines.

For the name I suggest, as all Mordus Legion ships are related to hell- / demonhounds, Eisengrind. This is a dog from a german fable stealing all children of the parents who work more than care for family in the so called "Rauhnächte". This are the nights between chrismas and the holy three kings holiday. :)

About the stats I was not thinking so far, but I bet the guys of CCP know what to do to get it inlign with the existing mordus legion bonus setup.

P.S. I hope I did wrote it somewhat easy to understand sometimes I have a bit trouble putting my creative thoughts into english words, as english is not my mothertongue. :)
