Ccp are you going to have a big marketing push for the new player experience and alpha clones? If so can you give the player base more incentives to help integrate new players into the game.

It would be my view that the community can really help you sell this game but we could do with a more Co ordinated and strategic approach.

To the community I would ask for specific ideas where we can aid ccp in promoting this awesome game we play?

I appreciate there is alot going on already in this area but feel that the Alpha clones offers a fantastic opportunity for the new player to experience eve.

IMO the biggest thing standing between really being able to support newbros is the game style itself. Its a double edged sword really. In order to have spais and awoxers and scammers and such with the ability to make alts you entirely cannot support newbros like you really normally would in any other gaming atmosphere to get them to good standings within the gaming community as a whole. It sucks but its just the way it is with the game itself.

Im sure CCP cannot validate true newbros in any meaningful way without us vets finding some work around to scam the system and nullify. Asking for APIs is kinda getting old imo and theres FAR too much time and effort to teach a newbro that is likely not a newbro how to Eve properly for far to little reward. Its like raising a child cost wise in RL, the old figures when I was younger was $1mil, and then finding out all that was for nothing because it was some old dude dressed in a bonnet and diapers.Twisted

This will limit retention for true newbros and limit our want to "help" rather than hinder, pillage, plunder, scam, steal, lie, cheat... oh I think you get the point.LolPirate

Have you heard anything I've said?

You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?

That's right.

Had to end sometime.

Tbh, I think the post below will be a more or less common experience for new players:

No marketing will help with that. It is just the player base. No matter how well intentioned you or a limited number of others are, I am pretty much with Eternus8lux8lucis on his assessment.

I know, truth hurts!
