Faction LP store overhaul

Ok, this is gonna be a bit of a threadnaut, so i'm going to start by outlining the goals of the thread, and elaborate on them as I go on.

Goals for the overhaul are:

-Provide meaningful choices for each and every NPC corp LP store in the game, both by specializing the selection between them to generate item scarcity and abundance to generate trade interest, and to provide unique items unique to each NPC corporation store.

-Sort LP store selection based on the way the NPC corp is represented in the game. Faction navies and their militias will be the sole providers of faction ship and weapon mods and bpcs, including their ammunition (ex. all 'caldari navy' modules and ammo are what's available from the caldari navy LP store). Non-governmental faction modules will be renamed to their respective NPC corp, and have a unique selection based on their field of expertise.

-Provide limited-time ship skins for npc corp LP stores, with higher LP costs increasing length held of skin. All permanent skins will still be found through the NES. Additional clothing items can be distributed through there as well.

-Minor empire factions get their LP store selection specialized and improved. For example, racial tanking modules like the Khanid Adaptive plating could receive a slightly higher resistance allocated into explosive and/or kinetic, or Ammatar and Thukker Mix get resists allocated more into EM and/or thermal. Additionally, things like minor faction ammunition can be introduced that have certain attributes to differentiate them from empire navies (better damage, worse application, better application worse damage etc). This ensures a viable selection and iterates upon current-standing attributes and refines them.

-Introduce new faction ship types for certain NPC corporations. Two tiers of faction ship bpcs can be introduced here, including minor faction navy vessels on-par with current empire navy vessels, and lower-level faction vessels that are specific to that multi-national corporation; these would have minor advantages or differences over their t1 counterparts, but not have drastically improved defenses or dramatically restructured layouts.

-For non-combat and non-technical corporations (fresh foods, Federation Parliament, etc.), have the LP store consist of such things as implants and a new system of trade goods. Governmental or administrative NPC corps can have items to replace nexus chips that function as commendations, permitting access to military vessels. This would be functionally identical to the current system of nexus chips, but provide a more lore-friendly source for items.

-All implant hardwirings are relegated to their specific NPC corporations, and distributed at their LP stores. They do not sell anything else, and Attribute/learning implants are available in each of the starter school NPC corps, and skill extractors will be made available through the school LP stores, albeit at a reasonably hefty price relative to the NES cost.

  • Meaningful choices: I'm sure all of us can agree that the selection between items in each racial LP store is far too generalized, and could definitely be trimmed down a bit (I'm looking at you, Republic fleet LP store). So how exactly would we do that without making it useless? Easy: you tune the LP store to its lore role and personality. NPC corps that work on producing tangible products can have their own unique selection of blueprint copies to distribute. Getting modules with tags out of the LP store is done away with, and special building materials for faction modules and ammunition can be introduced as a product from other npc corps that focus on industry or high-tech production, like the builders of T2 ships for each race. This both eliminates the tediousness of grinding for tags, increases faction module availability, and gives mission runners a fun way to spread their activities around.

  • Having limited time skin offers (30,90, and 365 days respectively) gives npc corps that either have a redundant or overlapping role a better selection of potential demand items to pad their inventory with. Having things from the NES store overlap with the LP stores would be a good way of managing prices without forcing people to pay out of pocket for everything, while giving the opportunity to introduce sales modifiers for vanity items, or events that increase or decrease LP costs between npc corps to fluctuate prices and keep the market for them interesting. An example would be a news alert that states something like 'Increasing pirate raids in the Okunda constellation have raised the cost of special ammunition, and lowered the cost of industrial LP store items as local industry workers flee in terror."

  • Separating out what kind of mods or ships are available where manages scarcity and abundance for local mission runners. This encourages systems that have an abundance of stations from different corporations to be trade hubs, as it is an ideal place to manufacture goods and trade them between the LP stores, or turn a profit in a particularly dead region of space. Having the tags replaced with building materials from various other NPC corp stores means places with a lot of stations will be very valuable indeed.

  • Increasing minor faction LP store selections is good for everyone, especially the people who would enjoy the RP aspect of running with that particular faction (I know i would like to have a good reason to work out of khanid space). Minor faction powers like Khanid, Ammatar and the Syndicate could receive their own unique frigate, cruiser, and battleship navy variants, while minor NPC loyalst corporations like the Theology Council, or Hyasyoda, can get a slightly upgraded version of a random t1 ship that's unique to their faction LP store. I'll be making a list outlining unique ships that i'd like to see from each of these.

  • [*] A new system of trade can be introduced in addition to having LP store building components replace the tag system. NPC corps that provide a vital function to the lore or government but have little practical application (like the food corps; ducia or fresh food and the like), can produce specific commodities that only require LP to purchase and can be bought at fixed prices in any NPC station that orbits a planet. These buy orders will last for a month or two, then move to a different, random planetary station, forming a new trade route. This will encourage a new PVE courier and trading profession, for people who would enjoy mapping trade routes, or even smuggling contraband around across great distances for a tidy profit.

Here's a tentative list of ships i'd like to see added:

    Minor Powers
Meant to be the premier navy warships for these sovereigns, they have similar defensive and electronic values to their equivalent navy ships. Khanid has the best capacitor recharge rate, intaki syndicate has the best capacitor amount.

    Major Faction NPC corp
These vessels are older military hardware that have been bought and upgraded by their respective corporations for defense in their own private navies. They have similar defensive and electronic stats to their t1 counterparts, but slightly better agility and top speeds. the battlecruisers cannot use command links, but are built along slightly more trim lines and have less utility, but maintain the same range/drone speed bonuses will still apply to the battlecruisers.

    Seibestor Scythe (seibestor colors)

6/5/3 slot layout, 5 launchers, 25/30 drone bay

5% bonus to Light, Heavy, Heavy Assault missile firing rate per minmatar cruiser skill level

    Hyasyoda Naga (ishukone colors)

    8/6/3 slot layout, 8 turrets

10% bonus to medium hybrid turret optimal range per caldari battlecruiser skill level
10% bonus to medium hybrid turret tracking speed per caldari battlecruiser skill level

Allotek Industries Vexor (new colors with silver reflective hull and red lights)
