But corp standings are just the average of the members, the standings will not persist after a member leaves right?

What use is there for corps with high faction standings? Im just curious. There use to be a reason for it, placing POS in high sec required a certain standing but I thought that changed now.

Maybe the OP is is looking at some out-dated guide. It used to be the case that you could buy this sort of corp and drop a pos according to their faction standing but this is no longer required.

You only, iirc, need a corp that has been in existence 7 days. But as the OP specifically mentioned Amarr standings that wouldn't seem to be the case here. Bit of a mystery Smile

Perhaps he thinks that being in a corp with high amarr standings is a fast track to either "Clones" or Level 4 missions.

Both ideas are wrong btw

incidentally, I have 7 day old corps for sale, if anyone is interested.

He could also have LOW amarr standings and want to be in FW. He just has to leave every 6 days. But he could do that with a "fresh" corp since all standings start at zero.

The "corp" standings are an average of everyone who has been in the corp for 7 days. That's it. If people keep cycling in and out (And no one is there for 7 days) then the old standings "Stick around".

But yeah. He either thinks he needs it for a POS (But he would ask for a standings of 7.0, so... no)

Or he wants to do level 4's.... not gonna happen

Or he wants to do Amarr FW to raise his amarr standings. Which is a grind.
