I always play in "beer goggles" mode.

Rather depends for me.

Orbit and up close if:

  • The ship looks cool
  • Mining
  • Mission is a cake walk
  • Transporting in HS


Orbit and away if:

  • Ugly Ship
  • Mining
  • Transporting out of HS


Tactical if:

  • I need to keep track of a bunch of reds.
  • I want to think I'm cool looking at data I don't actually use.


D-Scan window covers everything if:

  • Away from my comfort zone

orbit between zoom out and in, first person whats CCPs answer for everyone wanting a cockpit view which should have been a black screen....
