does a guide eve module origin exist?

As far as faction modules? is there a guide that explains where all modules come from?

As far as I'm aware there isn't anything like that, if you mean, which pirate faction to kill in order to get which modules to drop.

However PvE is a bit foreign to me, so either someone more PvE oriented will hopefully answer, or alternatively the Missions & Complexes forum might be a good place to also ask.

Short version modules tend to drop from the NPCs who use those types of modules. Thus hunt Blood Raiders for lasers & armour. Hunt Serpentis for blasters and armour. Hunt Guristas for shields, missiles, ECM (SO MUCH ECM).

Best place to find modules is of course Jita, the one time PLEX tanking makes sense.

To be the only one of a handful to know where a lucrative but rare module drops or how to get it the best is very potent intel.

Some faction modules come from LP stores -- search for them -- and some come from drops from the relevant pirate faction or the random rogue drone complex. Deadspace modules come from the proper faction and level deadspace overseer. Officer modules come from officers. It's not all that complicated at the end of the day.

Rouge drones?

I wish the drones would polish my ships. All the drones I meet just put holes in them. After my ships get put back together in spacedock, they're still dirty as ever.

Tbh I think if Eve wasnt a competitive natured game there would be WAY more and better player tutorials. But as it stands somewhere down the line everyone ultimately becomes your competition. Oedpius in space.Twisted
