Is it possible to enter Jove Space?

Thera. There are maps and rumors that this massive system maintains open and active wormholes that link directly to Jove Space. Is it possible for a fleet or lone pilot to scan down this wormhole, and make it through?

No.

Right now it is not possible for us to enter those out of reach regions in our New Eden north. There's word of player-built stargates in our distant future so maybe someday that's how we eventually access those areas. If you look around in those regions you'll see that some places are owned by CCP Alliance and I have heard that's where they do some testing or something.

Would be cool though Smile

Just a rumor. The only one who could take you to Jove Space is a GM. There are no active links to Jove space.

Technically, you can. It's where the alliance tournaments are held. Otherwise, nope. No access to Jove space.

That space is kind of like a live testing environment for CCP, to replicate bugs and stuff like that. Also some events like the Alliance Tournament are held there. I doubt we'll ever get access to it because CCP will always need a little patch of space for development purposes.

Many years ago you could tell your ship to warp. Not to a stargate, planet or mission. Just, warp. An illlustrious player (whom I have forgotten the name of) managed to actually warp into Jove Space.

But at the same time, it was not Jove Space. Because the grid had expanded to deliver him unto the lands of the Jove, but the Jove (being the sneaky clever people that they are) denied him that final glory..

It used to be possible to set a clone there. Then CCP nixed that.

Then people tried tricking GMs into setting their clone there. A few were successful for a short while. People that made it noted there was nothing on the market, nothing in belts... just a whole lotta nothing for a pod to bomb around in.

There used to be a way to tweak bookmarks you you could send them way out of the solar system you were in. One guy made it far enough to appear he was in jove space. Sadly our star systems don't work like that in internet space and nothing loaded up (planets, etc...)

Other than that, without a dev or GM I'm not aware of any way to get there. Maybe someday when we can build our own jump gates? Soon™...

I'm guessing that being able to build our own stargates will not open up Jove space. My guess is you need to build a gate at both ends, then sync the two together. Thus, you can only build a gate to someplace where you can get to in some other way.

You will be able to bypass Uedama, not not get to Jove space.
