PI Hanger at a planet

Hey all,

I've been doing PI for a while now (about 3 months) and getting pretty good at setting up colonies, etc, making a decent profit and all...

The question I haven't found; from playing and using over the course of these last few months; is: does the 'cargo hanger' (aka Spaceport when you have it open) keep its contents available for long periods of time? For example, if I put some P1 product in there (say 20k Plasmoids from either manually from my own ship cargo hold or exporting/launching from a launchpad), can I just leave it there for a few days? Since the planet's cargo hanger is 25k m3, I was wondering if I could wait until it is full then take a hauler and haul it all at once? Does the contents disappear after a few hours (like a cargo container in a mission)?

Thanks.

if there is stuff i can't fit in my hauler...it stays in the customs office hangar until i come back the next time...so yea..it stays there.

Customs office != Spaceport

Haven't tried it for more than a couple of weeks, but yes, it works for that period at least.

I have never had stuff disappear from the Spaceport, and I use it as a 25km3 buffer for import and export.

I have had P1 materials in the Spaceport for weeks when I have not had the time to pick it up.

It stays there forever. But there might be a patch coming one day where all this delete itself in the same manner as anchored containers will be deleted after some time.
I wish it would be possible to other corp members have access to it, this would make it a real teamwork.

You may use any Costum office to store your PI materials. I had a WH with 12 Planets. That was 12x25k = 300k m3 of space.

hmm, I've exported P0 to the hanger when I've over produced and it was gone when I returned a few days later.
So I'm not so sure it hangs around ad infinitum, would love to see some clarification on this as it would make a lovely buffer for production.

I have left overproduced P0 in the Customs Office for bout 3 days and it was there for pick-up. Not sure on the total time it can stay there though.

I have never lost any exported product in custom offices, but i never export P0, only P1, because doing that i think its not worth the money. But i am running long time PI Processes so i waste some resources having a 4th launching platform as an extra buffer. Might decrease the isk income, but maximizes the time my PI production runs so i dont have to click often. I now use a week and to be honest, i want to extend this time to the maximum, because i want to reduce this tamagochi game clickfest to its minimum.

Certainly looks like I'm the odd one out here.
Time for an experiment to see how long P0/P1 stay in the customs office hanger.

P0 hanging around in the hanger like a real trooper, if it did disappear on me before it isn't now.

Move along nothing to see here.
