CCP why does it take so long for you to respond to petitions. the way i see it, we should all be glad CCP has such a small player base. If they had even half of wow players it would literally take 3-4 years to have a petition answered. instead of firing 20% of staff they should have hired 200% more for customer service.

It's a good thing CCP has you here to help them manage and allocate their resources.

Did you do a forum search to see the reasons why? They have explained the situation, what their queues and peaks are like and what they are doing to mitigate it. You could try a bit of research, reason and critical thinking first.

The petitions I've ever had to put in, were responded to within an hour. And replies to the gms were answered within minutes. I think ccp is doing a great job, but thats just from what i've experienced.

if the information CCP has already provided here recently in regard to their petition backlog is insufficient, perhaps you should open a petit... oh, wait.

I have always been impressed with their speed and professionalism...and NO I am not joking....well except maybe for the logs show nothing thing, well and maybe some of their decisions.

Out of the hundreds of threads covering GM's response time to petition, not one of them answered your question? Maybe they have a small backlog? You can't wait up to a week? You want to cry? You want me to grab a bucket for you? You want to quit eve? You want to go back to World of Crap?

It took 3 weeks for my petition to be answered. Even Trion answered quicker when RIFT was first released.

I don't know about you but I've had 2 petition in the past few months, all got responded within a week. So it depends on what the issue is, how many people are complaining about it and how many GM are currently assigned to handle that particular type of complaint.

Edit: I should add that how much detail you initally put in helps as well. I've had people open help desk ticket with almost next to no details such as "monitor broken", especially when there's hundreds of monitors and I gotta find out which one is broken? Usually in that kind of situation, I just take the ticket and wait a week before the guy calls in to ask what's taking so long, I wouldn't be surprised if the GM does this as well.
