Purity of the throne skins - where will they stabilize?

100% drop rate. Takes 2 minutes to run in a Gila. They will be dirt cheap. It's Amarr ships. They suck. Well a handful of useful ships. At least the skin looks cool. But really, dirt cheap. Unless you hold it for 5 years.

I doubt i will be paying more then 300m for a full set once the event ends. More likely even less then 200.

Sarum skins looks cool. Those white skins on usually golden amarr ships look super dull, IMHO. From all skins I got only crucifier one looks semi-usable.

Some of them will hold a half decent value, mostly big things like Avatars, Aeons, Archons, Apostles or Revelations.

Among the sub-cap skins I can see Redeemer, Paladins, Curse, Pilgrim, Deacon, Pontifex and Guardian skins holding some kind of value. Possibly Slicers and some of the navy ships too. The rest will probably be largely worthless.

However you will have to compete with other skins from future events. And the all-white color scheme isn't exactly awe-inspiring. Of course, that doesn't stop me from running the sites anyways. In many ways EVE is more a massive Skinner box than a sandbox.

I noticed that the full set climbed from 660/400 million sell/buy to about 800/450 million sell/buy the day before the sites stopped spawning. On Tuesday, with the sights no longer spawning, the full set sell price went up 150% to 2 billion and the buy prices went up 50% to about 675 million. I have not price checked today but I think the full set sell price will bounce between 1.6 and 2.4 billion this week and the full set buy price will creep up to 900 million.

At 10 pm pacific, the Purity basket was selling for 1320 and buying for 760. The buy price climbed about 15% but the sell price retreated about 33%. If the sell price does not rebound a bit tomorrow, then 2.4 billion later this week seems unlikely.

considering the only way to get them into the game at this point is to buy them with AUR do you guys think the price will climb back up? Seems the prices took a nose dive yesterday. Granted there was a massive separation between buy/sell but seem considering the price of any other skin is in the $300mil range I'd think these should settle higher shouldn't they?

They will. Time. As with anything, more time on a AUR item that was available bountifully early on will move upwards. Players will stash them, go inactive, etc. I expect it to be a full couple months before you can solidly say things have "Settled" though price wise.

Considering these are among the worst looking skins added to eve, making a whole pile of ships simply look lazily done at best, and unpainted/unfinished at worst, I can't see demand for them being anything like the other dropped ones, especially considering that many of those who actually want them have simply collected them themselves, and many that they didn't need in the process.
