Had ideas, got in touch with cool people, working on some stuff now.

I have lots of wild ideas, many of them probably stupid, but some could be interesting.

If you have the ability and can deliver quality product, I'm open for proposals.

I believe in fair reward for quality work. I respect people who can do things I cannot. I appreciate feedbacks from those with experience that I do not have.

If I fund a project, I will own the project and have the final say in it. But my philosophy is to let people with creative talent and technical ability to express themselves.

I've been working professionally as a Software Development Engineer for the last 15 years and I can tell you that your "lol figures" are NOT EVEN CLOSE to what should be worth paying. You have to understand what you are asking to be done requires designing a proper backend database to store all of the data. That alone will take a few weeks to properly define what kind of data are needed to be stored, separate them into tables with proper relationship to avoid redundancy, and properly index the primary keys of each table for fast retrieval to be displayed on a web page. Any good Software Engineer would know that their code will only be as good as their backend database allows it to be. A poorly designed database will lead to lots of headache during the implementation phase (and don't get me started on how much time it would take to actually code it, especially the security/membership component).

Now let's talk about what it should be worth paying. A decent Software Engineer gets pay at minimum about $31 per hour ($65,000 yearly salary). 1 billion of ISK is worth about 1 PLEX (or $19.99). Let's say this person decides to take on the job for $10 per hour, or in other words, half a plex per hour. 40 hours week would cost you 20 PLEXes already. Go figure the rest...


EDIT: And don't forget the testing and maintenance phase...including the cost of setting up the Web Server and SQL server...all cost time

Also, keep in mind that most people that are smart enough to do this will not be dumb enough to work for pennies and will value their time as they are most likely playing Eve for fun and not make it another "job". If it's so easy and not time consuming, why is software development one of the fastest growth job? Bottom line is, you will not get any offer from software developers for just a few billions of ISK. Prepare to pay hundreds if you are serious. Good luck.

Just as an update, I have already discussed with a developer in much detail, and have paid billions for samples to be made. Yes, just for the samples.

I like the guy I'm talking to and unless his samples turn out to be terribad we probably work together long term. In meanwhile, any other interested parties can still contact me. The current one I'm talking to is my primary choice, but if you show me something fantastic there could be other jobs I can offer you.
