Purity Event - Pearl White & Gold Not Dull White PLS

Come on guy's. At the very least put some effort in the purity white class skins. You can make them Pearl Shiny White with Gold lining going around.

The white skins are like white clothes tossed in mud and are ready for a wash.

Remember this is Amarr, your lives would not have been spared if i was to make the decision.

I thought they were very interesting but I like masculine style as well as feminine.

Lore-wise it's solid. These people are fundamentalists so it makes sense that their skin looks like a pair of old overused white homespun pilgrim underwear.


Also the if you like white and gold you might try the default skin.

yes the Skins are pretty damn ugly

Agree with OP, Purity skins look like the ship's 3d model without a skin. Pearly white with silver or gold accents would've been great.

Kinda agree its like they thought, hmm what we gona do with this texture.... some guy say "Lets just make it a 512*512 white sqaure" job done.

I concur it needs gold trip and it needs to be more shiny at the moment it looks more like a plain white texture with zero effort put into it.

I personally love the Purity of the Throne skin on my Paladin. The lines on that ship really come out.
Reminds me of black and white work from Jean-Claude Mézières and other SF artists of his era.

Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format. Looking out the window I see one thing: Nothing wrong with the format of our Camper! Silly CCP......

The only usable ships for the dull white skins are navy ships, IMHO. On other ships changing gold to stone white just not worth it, IMHO.

Hey...OP's got something, I have an Ark skin that sells for next to nothing, if they were to buff the look more maybe a pilot won't mind shelling out some ISK if it were more interesting.

None of the Purity SKINS sell for anything more than a few million isk. I got an Avatar SKIN that currently sells for aprox. 20 million.

Even on day 1, I couldn't sell an Absolution purity SKIN for sole 100 mil.

I got excited about these skins until I turned up an account to full graphics and actually looked at them.


And yes the original skins are pearly white and gold. Even just the pearly white though would be an improvement imo.Roll

I love these skins. Very realistic, not gaudy, not chromy. They look awesome. Good job CCP.

Personally, I like the white skins.

The only thing I dislike about this event is the fact that players are not allowed to rep the rats.
